The wind was blowing through my wings. Sayden was a lot smaller bird than me so she was way ahead. Her grey and purple coat was the only thing keeping me from losing her. She didn't seem happy that I came along with her. She was a very independent person. She was one of those people you expect to grow up and be a doctor or lawyer. Someone who would fight you on women's rights. So when she was doubted about not being able to do it alone, she wasn't pleased.

At a very narrow dive Sayden hammered toward the ground below. I followed her even though I didn't get what she was going toward ground for. We were in bird form up in a tall tree when I hear a voice. If only he could hear me. The voice come very familiar inside his head.

Sayden? Her bird head snapped toward me and her eyes were wide.

Chuck? Your inside my head!

You were in mine first.

This is a very groundbreaking moment and you want to sit here and argue? Her voice was rising and for a reason I thought it was the best thing to make her mad and set her off.

Yes.

Just shut up. There's a pond north- west. So follow me and we can change back to human. She left before I could say anything, so I lifted my wings and flew before I could lose her.

We found the pond and changed on the bank. When I turned it felt like my insides are flipping a hundred times then I'm fine and standing where I wanted to be. Sayden was snooping around with edge of the pond. Cattail plants were growing in a corner and you could hear bull frogs everywhere.

"Chuck come here and look at these." I sprinted over to her where she was crouched down beside something.

"What?" I say when I come up beside her.

"Look. There's footprints on these muddy trail." I bend over and she's right. There were about two different pairs of footprints walking north.

"So there's other people here." I observed. My heart started hammering in my chest, and could tell Sayden was getting uncomfortable with this new discovery too.

"We should get back to the others. They'll want to know about this." She said standing up on alert, checking our surroundings. I concentrated on birds and then I felt the same organ twisting pain. I soon was in the air waiting for Sayden. She turned fast. Her grey and purple wings were off before I could even register a thought.

You know when you're about to do something totally stupid, but the thought of the delinquent behavior gets your adrenaline going? That's how it feels for me everytime I turn and get to action. The night I first turned I turned into a gorilla. I was scared out of my mind. I wasn't sure what was going on only that there was a furry body where I was sitting. Through my new eyes I saw things clearer and my hearing was different. Better. Sayden turned after I did and we just stared at each other not knowing what to do. Soon I controlled my breathing and got Sayden to calm down too. Emmett and Jetia where the only ones that didn't see it happen. Jetia accepted it and that got Emmett to calm down and accept it too. Jetia was a nice girl and her blue eyes and smile got anyone to stand around and stare. Emmett I could tell was falling for her, I mean who wouldn't? But I had some else in mind. Zay.

Zay was unlike anyone I met before. She didn't care much about looking perfect and impressing people. She was beautiful so she wouldn't need the extra help anyways, and that red hair. Her hair was perfect with her dazzling dark green eyes.

Sayden was taking a dive for the ground. I arched down and was following her toward our camp.

When we got there everyone started giving us questioned looks, so Sayden took the lead on telling with me there to put in my sightings every now and then. Emmett was starting to get really worried after he told us about the unknow two names on the list.

"So do you think the two set of footprints are them?" Jetia asked us.

"I hope so honestly, if it is them at least we have an idea who they are. Instead of having complete enemies here too." I told her. She shook her head in understandment, but worry lines crinkled her nose and forehead.
