-Chapter 10-




I was now in Nate's car. It was no point in backing down since he got me in his car. I sent my mom a message in which I told her that I would come home later and she said it was ok. I don't know what the girls told her that she was like that.



"Are you seriously not going to tell me where are we going??"- I asked Nate, for the millionth time since I got in his car.


"No, It's a secret place."- he said, winking at me.


"Oh, really? A secret place where you can kill me and no one would find out??"- I said. I know a little to dramatic, but hey..don't judge me. I am the drama queen.


Nate looked at me with shock. "Why would you think that?"



"Oh, well..you know, you're not so innocent. I heard stories about you."- I told him.


"Oh yeah? And what are those?"- he asked, amused.


"Well, besides you're the king of the players, you're known as a 'bad guy.'"- I informed him.


"You know, people also think I am hot, delicious and irresistible."- he winked at me.


Ugh!! Again with those 3 words. Seriously, could his ego get any bigger??


"Even the boys admit is sometimes"- he said.



That made me laugh, really. It was hilarious and...gross.


Nate smirked in satisfaction. God, this guy is driving me insane. One second he's a jerk, than he is funny.



We were now in the middle of ...nowhere. I didn't even realize when Nate stopped the car. We were in front of a forest.


"Come on, princess."- he said.


I did as I was told and got down from the car.


We entered the forest and we passed some trees and bushes. I was still wearing my jeans from last night and Nate's T-shirt since I didn't know where mine was.


"Yeah, you're definetely going to kill me."- I said, continuing walking behind Nate. Seriously, where was this guy taking me??


He looked back at me, amused. "Are you still thinking that??" -he asked me.


I didn't respond. We somehow passed the forest and we were now on a something like a field.


My mouth opened in shock because of the view in front me. It was such a beatiful place, with multicolored flowers and the sun shining. The only sounds were from the birds who were twittering and the nature's creatuers who were doing their jobs. I don't think there are any words to describe the beauty of this place. It was...wow.


Nate sat on his back, on the grass, looking up at the sky. I did the same.


We were both silent for some minutes, when I decided to broke it.



"Why did you bring me here?"- I asked him, looking at him.


"Don't you like it?"- he asked.


"Oh, yeah. Of course I do, this place is amazing!"


He smiled at me. Not smirking, but actually smiling. God, how I loved his smile. I wasn't the first time I saw him smiling, when we kissed in the swimming pool and when he was with his little siblings he was doing it ,too. He was so different around them.



"I like this place. I come here whenever I feel the need to refresh and relax myself."- he said.


Wow, who would have thought that he likes those kind of places? Guess I don't know him that well.


"Yeah. It's a really nice place."- I said.


He was so different right now, from what I've heard. No joking, no rude remarks, no pervert comments, no smirking. He was just...him.


"How did you find it?"- I asked him.


"Well, um...I used to, um...come here with my dad."- he said.



"And why don't you still come here with him?"- I asked, since he said, 'used to'.



I saw him tense a little bit when he heard my question and his face became incredibly sad.



I remembered the day I met his family, I never saw his father around. I could feel that I touched a sensitive spot and this was probably a touchy subjetct, so I just dropped it off.

"Anyway, why did you bring me here?"- I asked him, trying to change the topic, repeating the question from earlier.


"Because I thought you'd like it."- he said.


"Yeah. And you were definetely right."- I assured him.


He smiled again. Oh God, I was going to die because of that smile. It was so cute. I don't know if I started liking him more than what we are right now, gosh...I don't even know what we are.


Truth is, I never fall in love with a guy, because I never let myself do it. Nate is a player, he does only one night stands. I never let myself fall in love, because I know that in the end someone will end up getting hurt, and in those citrcumstances, when the boy is a player, the girl is the one who gets hurt.


"You know, you're the only one I brought here."- he told me, intertupring my thoughts.


What?? Was he serious?? Why was I the only one??


"Why me?? Why am I the first and only one?"- I asked him, shocked.


"I don't know, I just felt like it."- he said.

Again with the half anwsers. Thanks bro, this helps a lot.


We stayed quiet, enjoying the silence and the mother nature until Nate decided is time to get me home.

After Nate brought me home, I enetered the house and saw a ticket left from my mom, in which she informed me that both her and my dad left, because they had something important to do.


I made myself comfy on the couch, in the living room, and decided watching tv, since I've got nothing better to do.


Someone knocked at the door...and I got up to see who it was. Who would have possibly be??


I opened the door, to see the one and only, Alexa.


"Hey, Jessie."- she greeted me.


"Oh, don't act so innocent, miss. I am mad at you."- I said, pointing at her.


"Ok, Jess...you have all the rights to be mad at me ,but first hear me out. My mom would have killed me if she would've found out that I brought you home, drunk and she would've probably killed me and then also tell your mom and she would've probably kill you, too. So sorry for thinking about this, and remaining both, alive, because right now we would've been granted 6 feet under."- she said, out of breath.


I started laughing.


"Chill, girl. It's ok."- I calmed her down.


"Hiu. So, are you going to invite me in? I have something to tell you."- she told me. That's when I realized we were still at the door.


"Oh, yes. Please, come in."


We both sat in the living room, on the couch.


"So how was it to wake up in Nate's bed??"- Alexa asked me, a little too excited.


"Terrible, of course. Next time, let me sleep in the car."- I rold her.


"Next time, don't get drunk, dance and sing like a mad woman, shirtless."- she said, good point.


I am never getting drunk again, ever!! I had some bad experiences with alcohol in my old town when I went to a party and woke up dressed in only a bikini and a robe. My friends told me that I was trying to be a SuperBikiniWoman, imitating the superheroes.


Yeah, I know...stupid and hilarious at the same time, but hey...I was drunk!!


I was lucky that my parents were out of town, cuz I would probably be granted right now.


"Anyway...what did you tell my mom?? She didn't seem angry this morning when I texted her. Actually, she wasn't angry at all."- I said.


"Well, Roxy called her and told her that you were spending the night at her, after the party finished and when you're mom wanted you at the phone she came up with a lie and happily, you're mother believed her."


Ha! I couldn't believe it.


"Wow, she is such a girl."- I said, laughing.


"Yeah. She's good at those."- Alexa said.


"So...what was that you wanted to tell me?"- I asked her since this was the reason why she came in the first place.


"Well, um..it is um, about...a guy which I think I like."- she said.


I think I know who the guys is, sis.


"Come on, Al...sput it ou!"- I said.


"Well, Jessie...he's cute and actually, smart. Something I never thought he would be, nothing in a million years."- she said.


Yep, that got to be definetely, Michael.


"Yeah, I understand. Just figure out what you're feelings are for him, and when you're ready to tell me who the guy is, just tell me."- I said.


Although I know who the guy is.


"Thanks, Jess. You are the best"- she said, hugging me.

"Yeah, I know I am."- I said hugging her.


Aww, those guys would make such a great couple together. They're perfect for eachother.


Anyway, I was still thinking about what happened today with Nate...


Why did he show me that place? Why was I the only one? And why did he tense when I asked him about his dad and became so sad??




So many questions....

Um, when I saw that you actually mentioned the word 'potatoes' in your comments, I just freaked out. I was smiling like a mad woman, I was soooo happy, because it meant that you actually liked it. One of my friends was like: "were you hungry when you wrote that??:))"...well, I've got to admit that I was hungry, but also I thought it would be fun. Someone asked me if I like One direction because I asked you to do that. Well, actually... I like 1D, but I am not obsessed. The thing with the 'potatoes' was just a simply coincidence ;))
