"Where am I?" I said
"Oh honey you woke up, finally". My mom said
"Why am I in a hospital bed"I said.
"In school you fainted and the teacher called the ambulance. Then the school called me and I rushed to the hospital"my mom said
"Mom I told you I was really sick and you didn't even believe me do you even care"I said
"Honey I'm so sorry I thought it was just a light flu"my mom said
Then a doctor walked in.
"Hello my name is Dr. Alejandro. I'm going to your doctor for the rest of the day or at least until you get better we asked your mom if it was OK to do tests to see if you have any bad conditions" He said
"What is happening anything"I said
"We need to do scans to see if there's anything wrong with inside your body, Alyssa" he said.
They put me inside this weird room under a light. All of a sudden they had x-rays of my brain.
"Well Alyssa there's nothing in your brain which is a good sign but now we're going to have to take out blood and it has to be a lot of blood so we can run test and see the difference between other blood types"the doctor said
They took blood out of me to get the results was a really really long time then after couple hours the doctor.
"Mrs. Blancher please follow me out of the room"The doctor said
When both returned to the room my mom was crying and to be honest I didn't even know why?
"I'm sorry to say but you have a rare case of leukemia we have never seen this before but we're going to try to do everything to help you get better." The doctor said.
"This can't be true. What are you talking about. Am I going to die soon" I said
"We're not sure but we caught the leukemia very early so there still time for you to get better." The doctor said
"Sweetie just fine I know you'll survive through this your strong." My mom said
I don't know what I'm gonna do. But I know some thing will happen.
"Alyssa always know that miracles can happen" my mom said
