Nightmare Dayl and Cian

Dayl: it was very late at night and you got woken up by Dayl shaking you. "Y/n, y/n wake up." He said. You were shaken up and crying but finally you were awake. "It's okay, come here." Dayl said, pulling you close to his chest. "Did you have a nightmare?" He asked gently. You nodded, still letting tears streams down your face. Dayl got a tissue and wiped them away. "You're okay. I've got you. Try to forget about it, and breathe okay?" He said, cuddling you and making you feel safe. Once you had calmed down Dayl said "are you ready to go back to sleep now princess?" whilst kissing you on your forehead. You nodded and said "yeah."   Dayl kept you close to him for the rest of the night, making sure you were okay and fast asleep peacefully.

Cian: You woke up, tears rolling down your face and struggling for breath. You had a nightmare and it wasn't pretty. Cian had been awoken by your gasps and quickly sat up. "Y/n what wrong?" He asked you concerned. "I-I had a n-nightmare" You told him shakily, still crying. He pulled you close to him and you leant on him. "Nothing Is gonna hurt you Princess, you're safe!" He reassured you as you soon started to settle down and stop crying. He asked if you wanted to talk about it and you said yes just to get it off your mind. After telling him the story you were started to finally feel tired again, "Thank you so much Cian." You said to him. "What for?" He asked. "Listening to me, and helping me!" You said as he kissed your head. "It's okay, I love you so much babe" He said. "I love you too!" You replied as you soon started to drift off. He softly played with your hair waiting until you had fallen asleep and you realised how lucky you were.
