After having a night's rest, we all got up and prepared ourselves for the rest of the journey ahead.
Exhausted from last night's activities, we woke up in the afternoon to the scorching heat of the sun.
"Hah....ha....I can't walk...any further!" Sherry moaned as she collapsed onto the floor in exhaustion.
"Me too! It's just...way too hot!" Cheila agreed as she sat down into the floor.
"Quit complaining you two....is what I would've said but even I'm feeling the effects of the heat this much," Erza noted as she wiped sweat off her forehead and stopped to catch her breath a bit.
"Isn't there something that they call that? Conceited much? Right Lucy!" Happy commented.
"O-oi! Don't bring me into this!" She replied back nervously.
"What was that?" Erza asked turning to face the blue exceed with a glare that could literally kill.
"N-nothing..."
"Anyways, how far do we have till we make it there Iris?" Erza asked.
I stopped, sniffed the air, before replying.
"Well seeing as how the waterfall is pretty close, we can make it there in another fifteen minutes!" I exclaimed.
"That's great to hear," Gray commented wiping sweat off his head.
"I wouldn't mind staying out here longer watching Gray-sama's body covered in sweat!" Juvia yelled bouncing around him excitedly.
Gray just looked like he lost all hope of replying back.
"But you did say a waterfall right? It wouldn't hurt to take a break there for a bit. Men!" Ichiya implied.
"I hate to say it but I agree with Ichiya for once," Erza sighed.
All the others agreed as well, seeing as how this heat wouldn't be gone for a while.
"Men! I will ignore that and just focus on the fate that has allowed us to agree on something! Men!"
"Well then, since we've made up our minds let's go!" Lucy exclaimed.
"Ah, I can't wait! I wonder how Ren will react when he sees me," Sherry said posing.
"I can't wait! I've always wanted to bathe in a waterfall!" Wendy exclaimed as we started walking.
"Maa, maa, don't get too excited and go drowning now. We don't even know how deep the water will be," Carla pointed out.
"Hehe, well if it comes to that then I know I can count on you, nay Carla?"
Carla blushed before turning her head swiftly to the side.
"J-just so you know, I hate doing things that are troublesome." Carla replied swiftly.
"Hehe, you really aren't honest with your feelings are you Carla?" Happy said.
"I don't want to hear that from you, hmph."
"What are you talking about?!! I'm always honest with my feelings!! Everything.......is for the sake of fish!! Fish is why I live!" Happy elaborately yelled.
He suddenly got a gleam in his eyes before he charged straight at....Erza's head?!!! He then began to drool and chew on her hair muttering how good the fish tasted.
"Ah~ There's no saving him anymore, let's go Iris." Lucy stated as she and the others began walking.
"O-oi! Aren't we going to save him?" I asked looking back and forth between the others and the monster that was about to arise.
