Darkness thats all that there was there was no light, no sound, not even feeling.
And It felt like i had been consumed by it, as if i was falling endlessly into the void of darkness never to see the light or hear the sounds of the birds singing their songs, nor will i every feel the warmth of the sun kiss my skin.
but...Oddly i felt okay with that, as if not of those things mattered to me anymore, then suddenly I woke up unknowing of my surroundings.
I slowly looked around trying to comprehend where I was, I had no memory of the time before I opened my eyes, I looked around to see that It was night and the full moon was out, i also noticed i was in a graveyard and by the looks of it, it had been long sense anyone had even cared for it.
I looked down to found myself laying on an old tomb that was coated in dust and spider webs.Slowly using my arms to lift myself off of the old tomb I got up soon finding myself fallen to the ground, i could feel the cool damp grass against my legs.
Once again i attempted to pick myself up this time using the tomb for support, as soon as i got myself up i realized that my outfit had consisted of a knee length black dress with lace sleeves and a skull bow, black high heeled boots and lace tights.
After taking a few deep breathes i let go of the tomb after a small while of trying to regain my balance i decided to take a look around as to get to know my strange new surroundings.
This place was nothing like the peaceful darkness she had witnessed just a bit earlyer, here there was light from the full moon and she could hear the crows singing the beautiful song, and she could feel the slight chill of the wind that blew at her slender frame, but there was one thing she didn't know and that was how she got there and were was sne before now?
"Hey you, girl what are you doing here!" I heard a voice yell, i turned around to see who the voice was coming from to find a boy who looked in his late teens possibly
i went to open my mouth to speak only to have my voice crack a bit then die, so i only stared at the boy.
"you're not supposed to be out this late it's dangerous" the boy spoke once again and i once again said nothing instead i took a step closer to him and tilted my head slightly to the left.
"whats wrong cant you speak?" the boy spoke but this time he sounded slightly concerned, i nodded at him hoping he would understand.
"oh" was all he said as he walked over to me it was then that i had noticed that he was holding a lantern and his outfit was consisted of a long black trench coat withcombat boots and a pair of worn-out jeans, i couldn't see his shirt due to the fact that his trench coat was closed.
"are you just mute or are you having difficulty speaking, nod yes for voice difficultys and shake your head no for mute" he held a stern look on his face as he spoke i found this charming, but i nodded my head and focused on the task at hand making sure he knew that i was only having voice problems.
"aw, well then i still need to question you but i can wait until you get your voice better so until then you will be staying in custody" as he said this a car drove by lighting up his face just long enough for me to be able to see that he had grey eyes and short brown hair, he soon took out a phone and dialed in a number then putting the phone to his ear.
it didn't take long for there to be an answer on the other end of the phone
"yeah its me, i got somebody down here at the graveyard, you knowmthe old one, and i need to take them into custody for questioning, can you send somebody down" there was a moment of silence as he listened to who ever was on the other end of the line
"thanks, i'll meet them at the gate." after saying that he hung up the phone and turned to me,
"now then promise to behave, i don't want to have to put hand cuffs on you" he sounded serious but honestly i still was kinda out of it so i just nodded.
"good now come with me" he grabbed my arm and began to pull me towards a big gate that was on the other side of the graveyard.
Once we got there a car pulled up infront of us but to my knowledge this didn't look like a police car. the man in the car rolled down the window "this the person for questioning?" the man in the car said in a husky voice, he looked quite a bit older then the man with you and he had a five o'clock shadow, he almost looked like a guy you would find in an action film.
"yeah, found her over by the tombs in the back" the boy said while giving a slight nodd , the man in the cars eyes widened a bit then he just brushed it off "And why can't you question her here" the man spoke coldly as he faced forward
"Because she is having voice troubles which pretty much means she lost her voice" the boy sighed and i just nodded agreeing with him.
"okay then get in" the man droned as he unlocked the car doors, the boy had buckled me into one of the back seats and then closed the door soon going into the front passenger seat and buckled himself.
the car ride was silent and i looked around the car and found that there were metal bars separateing me from the front of the car there were also bars on the windows, and though it appeared to be an older car and not even close to resembling a cop car the inside sure did look like one, and i sure didn't know why i knew these things even though i don't even remember anything from before i had woken up, but i brushed it off as i felt the car reach a stop
"okay were here" the boy said as he turned back to look at me, i only looked back at him blankly.
He got out of the car and opened my door letting me out then once again he grabbed my arm and we headed into a old looking shop, as soon as we when't in he walked over to the person at the register and whispered something into their ear, they then nodded.
"welcome back" the person at the counter said as they turned around and punched in a code into a key pad that was behind a employee of the month plack on tne wall.
the floor next to us opened to reveal a stair case, the boy lightly pushed me towards it, i slowly made my way down the steps with him following close behind, soon we came to the bottom and i saw a line of cells but it seemed quite in here like they were all empty.
"strange it's never this quiet, oh well lets get you to a cell for the night" he lightly pushed me towards the first cell which was empty and he opened the door and pushed me in closing the door and locking it once i was in.
"i'll get you water to help with you throat then your on your own for the night" he said and left before you could nodd.
once he left it got eerily quiet and i backed into a small corner in my cell, i had began to feel a bit dizzy and just standing up made me feel like i would fall, lucky the boy came back and set a paper cup of water at the door i your reach then left, i slowly crawled my way over to it and drank it, allowing the cool liquid to go down my throat, it felt nice.
soon i felt it hard to keep my eye's open so i went over to my corner once again and curled into a ball and fell into a deep sleep.
