Jaime//
Tonight was the full moon.
I stared at the ceiling of my bedroom before my alarm went off, signaling it was time to get my lazy ass up.
I sighed shutting it off and threw off the covers.
Ever since Wayne told me everything, I've been cuddled up in my room. Except on weekdays, I went straight to school and straight back. I haven't even mentioned this to anyone, not even Nicki. I managed to get her to stop bugging me after a week of avoiding her, with the help of Wayne.
I'm just shocked. I don't want this, and finding out that the rest of my life was going to be different doesn't exactly make me ecstatic.
Nicki still occasionally checks in like any other best friend would. I told her I just needed time alone since around this time my parents died a couple years ago.
But that wasn't the real reason, don't get me wrong I miss my parents a lot. The real reason was because Dean bite me.
And from everything Wayne told me, I could turn tonight. It was also Wayne's 18th birthday today, which meant he would also turn. It actually gave me comfort, knowing that I wouldn't be doing this alone.
Once I was done getting ready I headed down stairs to grab a quick bite.
Did I really just say quick bite?
"Hey." I greeted Jenna and Dalton who were in the kitchen already.
"Morning." Dalton said to me. "Gotta get going, love you." He said pecking her lips.
She said it back and once he was gone I could feel here eyes on me with a suspicious look.
"What?" I finally said looking up from my plate.
"Are you okay?" She asked with a concerned look.
"Yeah." I scoffed trying to play it as if I was. "Why wouldn't I be?"
"It's just . . . you've been locked up in your room these past few weeks and I haven't seen any of your friends around. You barely even come out to eat--" She said with a worried tone before I cut her off.
"Jenna, I'm fine." I lied.
She looked at me once more trying to figure what was going on before she sighed. "Okay, I'm here if you need anything." She said before leaving to work.

"We need to talk." Someone approached me at my side.
"I don't want to talk, especially not to you." I continued looking ahead as I walked down the hall.
"How come you haven't been coming to first?" He asked.
Ever since my run in with the Jaxon brothers, I decided to stop going to my first period, which is the class I shared with Travis. I managed to convince my English teacher to let me work from home, he was a close friend of Jenna's and understood what I've gone through.
I ignored his question.
"Look tonight's the full moon and you might be a werewolf-"
I cut him off when I quickly grabbed him and pulled him into an empty classroom. "Say it any louder and God will hear you." I said sarcastically. I let go of his hand and let out a sigh leaning against one of the desks. "Is there any way to stop this?"
