Louis started running as soon as he was out of the tube, he was already late and afraid of what might happen to him. He wasn't good with finding jobs, worst at keeping them, but this time it was different, still he knew it could be mortal for him to arrive late, or that was his recurrent thought.

"I am very" Louis was almost out of breath "sorry, it won't happen... ever again"

"I was told you skipped class today" the boss told him calmly while ordering some wine bottles behind the bar

"Uh, it was... yeah kind of true"

"I know" he looked at Louis, the boy was sweating nerves "Let's forget it happened, tomorrow come in time, got it?"

Louis nodded and put on his little apron. His job was wiping of tables, serving customers, sometimes he was in the bar, not much though, drunk girls were unbelievable. He looked at his boss from time to time, he was a nice lad, unlike the others in his different jobs.

The blue eyed boy had all kind of jobs before, most of them with annoying bosses that only abused his power, and looking at him being young and in need, they thought Louis was nothing but a slave. But this job in a small bar, it wasn't bad at all, he just hoped it lasted.

"He's tricking you" Liam said standing up from the dinner table.

Him, Zayn and Niall were visiting Harry, mostly intrigued by what happened today in class. As Niall had mentioned before, it was a shocker for absolutely everyone in the class. They all told Harry that the class focused on him and Louis as soon as he run away.

"That new friend of yours will corrupt you" Zayn said

"Worst, will be the death of your academic career" Liam huffed

And Harry was there listening, but if the room would start burning he wouldn't even notice, Louis was like a disease taking his mind and thoughts, it was the most intriguing character he had to discover.

"Okay back off lads" Niall calmed the situation "Harry would now address the elephant in the room"

Harry look at his face with innocent eyes, which meant he didn't want to say anything.

"He'll stay quiet" Zayn said "That look, is the same he put when he didn't get us all tickets for The Strokes"

"And I am still sorry for that" Harry said now moving to the couch "But there's not much I can tell"

All of the boys grumble, it looked like he was playing interesting although he wasn't.

"For real, I don't even know what happened" Harry let out

And it was true, he did suspect some stuff may be going on in his life, but as Louis had mentioned a repeated amount of times, it wasn't his business and he wasn't his friend. As much as Harry wanted to change that, it seem impossible at the moment.

"Let's leave it in me being worried about my assignment partner" Harry said and the boys seem to take that as an acceptable answer, for the moment.

As time passed, the boys ate some Chinese, watch a film and talk about life, without noticing it was almost midnight.

"Well we are leaving, Zayn's got to go home tomorrow" Liam said looking at the sleepy fellow

"Yeah, mum's birthday... wouldn't miss it for anything" Zayn said "Thanks for taking me by the way"

"Oh it's nothing" Liam said and pick Zayn from the couch

Both of the boys said their goodbyes, walk to the door and leave Harry's flat
