Chapter 5:1 The Ring

Our fifth monthsary was coming near; I had a vacation here in Batangas for like the whole Christmas and New Year vacation. It’s hard to communicate with her because of the very weak reception of my phone it’s like I’m stranded in an unchartered island with no food or anything to do.

I got some time to text her because thanks to God there is a very good reception at the sea side. I really missed her that time. And what made me smile is that she really misses me too. It’s kind of hard for us but I told her to stay strong and I’ll be home in a few days

N: “Miss na kita SHIN. Wag kang pasaway dyan aa. I love you. “

S: “Opo. Wala naman ako ibang magugustuhan dito gusto ko na nga umuwi para makasama na kita Yhabz”

N: “Hays. Sige magpakabait ka dyan aa. “

S: “Opo Asawa ko :) “

She had no idea that I was earning enough money to buy her our 5th monthsary gift. And a very surprisingly way to give it to her. I was thinking of some way to get my plan all together.

So I’ll skip to the part when I get back to Makati.

I just got like 1 grand from Batangas. The day after we got home, first thing in the morning, got dressed, got money from my mom for the jeep fare.

1st thing I looked for at the mall is a jewelry store. I found Silverworks first, but my budget was kinda short. Conveniently located beside Silverworks is Unisilver. I found a ring but I was kinda doubting that it would fit her. So when the clerk/cashier gave the ring to me in a box I asked her.

S: “Miss, don’t you have a box for this? “

Clerk: “Sorry sir we don’t have any. “

S: “Thanks. “

Problem!!!

I don’t have a BOX for this ring. I asked every mom I knew if they had an extra box for the ring I bought but great thanks to my friend Gimel’s mom.

I asked her, how much would I pay for this box?

Take it its yours now go and give that ring to her, she replied.
