Mysterious guy POV

DAMN, I finally got to this store , I've recently moved here in this neighborhood, and I've been walking around to find the frozen yogurt shop , as I slowly walk to the door , I see a girl ,walking on the side of the road pacing up and down , the wind is blowing her beautiful brown hair , she then walks on the road
What the hell is wrong with her , should I go ask ? Or should I just leave her ?
She just stood there looking at the car that's speeding towards her , she closed her eyes
"Theres a car coming your way !!!" I tried to shout but she didn't hear because she just stood there
Just in a blink of an eye the car hit her and she fell on the ground , and the red car stopped but then drove off again ... stupid ass , you tell me you couldn't see the FUCKING girl in front of you , or maybe it wasn't an accident, maybe he wanted it to happen

I run towards her , and looked down at her , I noticed her bleeding on her head ... this is serious ... I then called 911 and in a few minutes they came

"Please help her , she stood by the road and the car hit her and she landed on the ground" I said panicking

"What are you to her ?" One of the paramedics asked
What am I , am I just a stranger , well she doesn't know me and I don't know her ... so I'm a stranger

"I'm her boyfriend" I said regretting what I just said

"Will you ride with us , or are you going to follow the car ?" He asked again

"I'm coming with " I said with more urgency in my voice ... for paramedics they are pretty calm for this

We got into the ambulance car with her on the gurni .
For some sort of reason I cared what would happen to her , maybe it's because of my kind heart , but something drew me in, there's something about this girl , but I don't know  what. We got to the hospital and they rushed her through doors and I was rushing with them but one of the guys told me to stay in the waiting room and I took one look and her and just nodded

I walked back to the waiting , and sat down, waiting impatiently, 2 hours passed and there was still no feedback from the doctors, I watch the arms of the clock ticking and finally the doctors come

"Melanie Grey's family" he said , well I don't know who that is , should I go up and ask him
So I did just that , I walked up and said "yeah that's me "
Well my plan was to see the girl and figure out if it was the girl that I saved , I mean I did save her .... right
I followed him to one of the hospital rooms and I got into the room ...and there she was , and my heart sunk , why would a beautiful girl like her want to kill herself , she looked very young , younger than me in fact and I am 21.

I sat by the chair next to the bed ... does she have a family ?? How am I gonna call her family ?

"She will be just fine, her ankle is broken and she hit a nerve by the back of her neck , she is lucky she is still alive ...the surgery was successful , but she will have memory loss " the doctor said snapping me out of my thoughts

"How long will she be in the hospital" I asked looking at her

"From her state right now , I don't know, maybe a few days  ... I understand as you are her boyfriend, you will be worried, but she will be fine , she needs rest" he said while escorting me out of the room

"Are you her only family ?" He asked

"Ummm, to tell the truth , I don't know , I'm just a stranger to her , I just saw her by the road when the car hit her , I just came to make sure she was okay " I said honestly

"What do you suggest we do then " he asked me

"Maybe I could go back to where she worked , I saw her wearing a frozen yogurt apron , I'll ask one of the colleagues" I said
