I'm nervous about this chapter since I don't know what the bat will do and lalalla so please don't be mad D:

I woke up from a good night sleep, but the storm made me cold so I got some hot chocolate, yes I like hot chocolate, anyways , since I put the box on the counter, the bat was gone and I heard a noise in the living room. I grabbed a baseball bat and walked slowly towards the couch, then saw the bat awake.
"Hello there human!" The bat said in a cute voice.
"AH! A TALKING BAT!" The talking bat made me jump.
"Calm down! I'm a helper sent by your grandma, that's of course a wizard, she sent me to help you out in your adventure." The bat was still speaking.
"So you're from my grandma..." I said as Jake woke up and walked over me.
"Oh the bat's awake." Jake was suprised.
"Yeah, I'll help in you many ways during your adventure!" The bat said.
"I think we should name him Bubble, since he's cute and all." Jake said giving out a random name.
"Oh Bubbly would be fine!" Bubble said happily. Then Dad and Joana woke up.
"A bat." Joana said with no emotion at all. I think she hates bats or something I don't know. Dad started getting ready to cook breakfast and it was pancakes with toast bread, I helped with the toast bread.
I got the toaster and got bread and blahblah and Joana interrupted me then I got annoyed.
I really don't know why she keeps doing this to me. But I don't mind.
Joana's POV
I started asking questions on how to toast bread since I was poor because my dad died from a robbery.
My Dad was really funny and great, like the greatest Dad.
During the lights going out, something happened, like a big dog came in our house and started calling backup.
The dog killed my mother as the dog spared me, attached a GPS or something like that on my body, the dog was suddenly talking and said if I take it off, I die immediately.
But I guess the dog was wrong or something else happened. While Logan and his Dad found me, they took the GPS off and I didn't die.
I had mixed emotions when I started explaining why I was out in dark alone. Now I'm a happy person.
Logan's POV
I gave the bat toast bread to eat and grabbed 2 pancakes and a toast and put it on a plate, I went to the couch and turned the TV on.
I started spreading the butter and pour delicous looking syrup on my pancakes.I changed the channel repeatedly as the channels were boring.
I suddenly stayed on cartoons since it looks fun. I took a bite of my pancake and it was delicous.
"I can produce echoes that help me sense things in the dark." Bubble said.
"If the echo bounces or hits something, it means theres something in the way, I can't really see in the dark."
"Wow, that's amazing Bubble, I wish I could do that." I said patting Bubble's head.
When we finished breakfast, I got my bag and took Joana and Bubble, Jake is staying to help out Dad.
I went outside then turned the flashlight on, then lighting up the lamp as Joana grabbed it to help out.
We were going to the grocery store and Bubble started flying and lead the way.
"Be quiet, I sense something." Bubble said
We were in fear what it was, probably the big dog from Joana's story. We ran quickly to the grocery store as we found it.
I grabbed as many supplies as I did, even batteries.
Joana got canned food like beans and ham.
"Grab that, it helps me grow." Bubble said while Joana looked at Grow Spray for plants.
"Silly Bubbly, this is for plants." Joana said.
"Spray it on me and watch." Bubble said as Joana grabbed the Grow Spray and sprayed a little on Bubbly.
Bubble suddenly got bigger, like the average size of a bat.
He could hang upside down now since he's older, he was even hanging on the pipe thingy on the roof.
When I was finished packing, I went to Joana and Bubble. We heard a loud noise in the back.
We were frightened, so we ran away, we heard something chasing us.
Bubble sends out an echo and senses that, its a kraken? A tenticle of a kraken...Weird.
It got nearer and nearer, strangely, Bubble was magic, he gave out a loud screech that reached the kraken at the back.
The kraken's tenticle fell down like it was paralyzed or what, we were running for our lives.
We finally got out of the grocery store and run back home. When we got home Dad was cooking snacks.
Ramen.The delicous noodle I tasted in Lagendia, I first ate it with chopsticks.
We grabbed plastic chopsticks that we buy incase Dad cooks ramen. We obviously got bowls too.
I slurped the ramen when Dad was done cooking, man it was delicous.
"Mh, thanks Dad." saying with my mouth full.
"Always a pleasure to cook ramen for you." Dad said
Bubble was sleeping peacefully hanging upside down, I don't know what to do with this grow spray, or what Bubble will change into.

Fact:I named Bubble, Bubbly first, then I thought Bubble would be better.
