I wake up to my alarm clock blaring. When I look at the clock, it reads 5:45.
Ugh, school...I have to wake up at this time so I can catch my bus at 6:15. We're so far out in the country, I'm the first one on the bus, and school doesn't start until 7:30.
I pull on my regular clothes of jeans and a t-shirt with boots, brush and braid my brown hair, and head downstairs for breakfast. Dad is down there getting ready to start the day with a cup of coffee, along with my brother and sisters. We all silently agree to leave each other alone until after breakfast.
After we finish Dad walks us to the end of our long road/gravel path where the bus picks us up.

So...the neighbors are city people. This is gonna be interesting...
Mystery boy walks up to the seat in front of me, and although I'm not really a sociable person, I decide the new kid could use a friend.
"Hey, I'm Cassidy Bryant! What's you're name?"
"I'm Donovan McHenry..." he said somewhat reluctantly, and turns around.
Okay then...I decided to try again. "So...why did your family decide to move into that old house? No one has lived there for over 10 years."
This produces a scowl on his face,"Well, I didn't want to be here. I was just fine where I was, and now I'm stuck here in Nowheresville, USA!"At this he turns around and goes back to staring at the back if his seat.
Rude...
