CHAPTER 2. A NEW SONG

The next day...

Venus was sitting in her room, wondering about what to do since she's kinda free for the morning.

'Maybe I should pratice?' She thought 'Or...' The rosette stood up and left the room 'I know'

The golden haired headed towards a pratice room. But she didn't come here to dance or sing. Venus came here to compose, or exactly, compose Quartet Night's new song. The rosette walked in and sat down in front of the grand piano. She gently closed her eyes, thinking about each of them.

'Kotobuki Reiji, Kurosaki Ranmaru, Mikaze Ai, Camus,...' Their name kept repeating in her mind.

Even if this is the first time she's ever composed for any other band than herself, Venus still has the confidience to do this properly. After all, the name 'Crystal Princess' wasn't given for no reasons.

As their profile and personalities flashed through her head, Venus starts pressing some random keys on the piano.

'Their voices, songs, personalities, appearences..' She thought carefully about each one, her hands continued pressing lightly

Suddenly, Venus' hands moved faster on the keyboard, causing some new melodies. From that moment, music notes just naturally come to her.

'Good, I'm starting to get used to their music...' She said to herself as she stopped for some minutes to write down the melody.

"Let's see..." She muttered then continue to play.

The melody itself is just so... beautiful, hot, passionate and full of feelings, seems the totally opposite to Venus' usual self - which is cold as ice. Ever since that icident , Venus could only show her emotions through music, nothing else. She only lives on because music, and her promise.

Little did the rosette know, Quartet Night has just finished their work and come back. And somehow, Reiji pulled them towards the pratice room that she's using.

"Oh?" The brown haired stopped suddenly

"What is it now, Reiji?!" Ranmaru angrily growled, completely pissed off because his idiot bandmate

"Someone's is playing the piano. Can't you hear, Kurosaki?" Camus answered

"According to my caculations, 80% it'll be Venus" Ai calmly added

"Shh! You guys, let's come closer!" Reiji suggested

"For what?" The cyan haired questioned "If she's composing, then isn't it clearly our new song?"

"We'll get to hear it sooner or later, anyways" Ranmaru agreed , followed by Camus' nod.

"Mou! Aren't you all curious about what kind of song is she working on??" The most idiotic person beamed

"Why do we have to?" Camus sighed "It's her job after all. We only write the lyrics"

"Indeed" Ai and Ranmaru nodded lightly

"Come on! Just a little bit won't affect the world's peace!!" Reiji almost begged, pulling his friends ahead before they can react.

"You idiot!! Let go!" The rocker tried to resist but Reiji has already stopped in front of the door frame.

The brown haired peeked in, only to see Venus is still working on the song.

The rosette played the whole melody smoothly, beautifully and perfectly. For Quartet Night, it's somehow the first time that they're this much impressed by a song.

"Oh my gosh!!" Reiji really wanted to scream "This melody!!"

"..." Even Camus couldn't say anything
