CHAPTER 3. IT CAN'T BE...

After leaving Quartet Night in the pratice room, Venus then headed to a studio. She's going to have a photoshoot there, for some kind of idol magazine. However, their words just won't stop repeating in her mind and it's somehow is distracting Venus.

'This is the first time... someone has challenged me, since that...' Venus thought while posing 'How bold...'

The rosette still made sure to do the work properly even if she's not serious. Honestly, it isn't necessary for her to be.

"Umm, Venus-san?" The photographer's voice cut her off her thoughts.

"Yes?" She replied politely but calmly .

"This part, I want you to smile cooly, but is that okay?" He pointed to a part and offered.

"Of course, it's okay. I don't mind that at all" She nodded, but inside, she really feels disgusting because this is the time she has to fake her emotions.

"Thank you so much~ Then, let's continue!"

Venus just continued doing her work, and when that part comes, she somehow couldn't give it her best effort.

'What's happening to me?' She thought 'I usually have to do it, yet this time I can't?" She questioned herself in disbelief.

"Venus-san, are you okay? If you feel uncomfortable, please tell us!"

"No, it's fine." She snapped back and once more tried to show her 'smile'.

'Just fake it out!' She was yelling inside 'What am I doing?' The golden haired forced herself to give that smile.

And finally, she can show something similar to that 'cool smile', but it wasn't nature. It was too forceful.

"That's pretty fine, but can you try to make it more nature?" The photographer's voice was a bit unsastified.

"I understood" Venus nodded "I'll try better"

"Then, let's have a short break then continue!"

Venus then stepped aside to sit down on a chair. She burried her face in her own hands, obiviously disappointed about herself.

'I can't continue like this! Put yourself together, Venus!' The rosette shook her head 'Just act like usual!'

'Usual...' She thought 'When did this become usual, I wonder?' Then some films from the past flashed through her.

"Venus! Your smile is the most beautiful, so don't ever forget it!" A man voice echoed

"Smile, Venus!"

'Stop!I can't do it!' She hugged her head 'I've forgotten--' Suddenly her phone rang

"..." She picked it up and saw a strange number "Who's this?"

"Hello?" She spoke up

"Ah, is this Venus??" A familiar voice answered

"Kotobuki-san?" Her voice was a bit annoyed "Why did you call me?"

"Why? Because we've already finished the lyrics!" He almost shouted in her ears

"Ugh, you're so loud, please keep your voice down" Venus reminded him "I understood, I'll check it as soon as I return to the dorms" She quickly said then hanged up.

'That was close...' She sighed 'It has been a while since I last think about that...' The rosette closed her eyes, trying to calm down

"Venus-san, please get ready!"

"Okay, I'm coming" Venus stood up

"Are you ready?"

"Yes, please start"
