Life here on this not so miserable planet has been nice . The crystal clods are doing their usual combat training and the " Steven" is off with this " Connie " individual singing some
Song or what not . I'm actually starting to love being here on this planet , sure I do miss homeworld and know I can never go back but there's more in this world to learn about .
"Peridot !" A familiar voice calls for her as she stops and looks around . She then noticed a bright happy face and a big yellow star . " Oh , hello there Steven " . Peridot notices a girl standing next to Steven . " Are you this ...... Connie person ..?" Connie puts out her hand for a hand shake " Yes ma'am I am nice to meet you " Peridot looks at her hand and shakes her hand " a Formal greeting . Nice to meet you ... Connie " . Peridot looks at her questioningly " anyway , Steven could you hand me the rythmatic pulverizer?" Steven picks up a hammer off the grass and hands it to peridot " here you go dot ! " peridot takes the hammer out of his hands " Thanks and don't call me that " . " what are you building peridot ?" Connie asked intrigued . " I'm building a new pair of limb enhancers ." " limb enhancers ?" Connie asked " They're what make her taller and also they're kind of like her weapon " Steven explains to Connie . " so kinda like stilts ?" " precisely ." Connie watches peridot as she finishes her leg enhancers and start on her arm enhancers . She looks at peridots calculations on the chalkboard . " Hmm these seem a little off .." " What do you mean, my calculations are always right ! " Peridot said offendedly " not here , one of your legs is slightly off balance " . Connie shows her " no they're not ! " peridot puts I her legs enhancers and shows her but looses balance as her left leg is off . " yes they are right here " Connie grabs a price of chalk and circles a certain equation " it should be X=32 not X=35 , there you won't loose your balance and they would be correct !" Peridot fixes her calculations and limb enhancers and tries them on . " would you look at that ! " peridot runs " IM NOT FALLING !!!" Connie and Steven laugh as peridot runs around . " I feel tall again and like my old self ! " peridot takes off her enhancers and holds out her hand to Connie . " thank you for your help in my calculations ." Connie holds out her hand and shakes peridots hand " no problem I'm glad to help ." Steven sits down on the blanket on the ground and smiles . " glad you two could get along " Steven then takes out his ukulele and starts to sing a song .
