"I want his head in my hands. Bring that bastard up here now!"

"Yes Captain."

50 years after he had been captured by the Starship Enterprise, Khan had been unfrozen by a traitor in the crew. Now 50 years on, with a new crew and new captain, he had been unleashed on the ship once more, ready to take his revenge. For Khan, he had only been frozen a few seconds ago, and he was on a hunt for Captain Kirk and his accomplices.

"Captain, there's something approaching us fast, the shields are up but I don't think they'll do much to stop it. It's heading straight- DOWN EVERYONE DOWN DOWN"

The crew ducked with their hands over their heads as something strong and fast burst through the glass. The Captain dared look up. A long dark figure stood before her.

"WHERE IS HE? TELL ME!"

This man looked completely insane and very, very angry. Even worse than the stories told him to be.

"ANSWER ME!"

The Captain stood up.

"He's dead Khan. And so will you be."

Khan grabbed her by the throat, his face trembling with rage and his eyes ablaze. The Captain raised her fist and collided it hard with his face. The criminal stumbled back, a swollen cut formed just below his eye.

"Since you came, there's been a few changes around here. Thanks for the superman blood mate. Appreciate it."

Khan's face, half hidden with his black flock of hair, scrunched up and shook until he let out a roar and threw himself at the Captain, making them both crash against the wall of the ship.

"Captain!", shouted First Officer Andrew. He withdrew his gun.

"Andrew we need to stabilise the ship! Half the crew are wounded and we need an engineer now!", came a call from the engineering room. The Captain and Khan were slowly regaining their strength and getting up. The Captain looked at Andrew.

"Go. GO!"

Andrew analysed the Captain. She could take him.

"And take the crew with you. He's mine."

As she wished.

"Yes Captain. All of you, come with me! We'll need help with the casualties!" Andrew and the remaining crew rushed to the doors and dispersed to all parts of the ship while a few went with the First Officer.

The Captain looked at Khan.

"My father spared your life. But I am not my father. I am only a quarter Vulcan and I do not possess that much mercy. ARRGHHH-" She rose up and slammed Khan with a fist, many fists, until he held her hand, turned to the side, and gave a sharp elbow to her stomach. She cried out. Now she was really getting pissed off. She held her stomach and smacked her head with Khan's, dizzying them both, with Khan already bruised all over his face. He held his head. The Captain took the opportunity and kneed him in his groin. Khan roared.

"HOW'D YOU LIKE THAT YOU BASTARD?" She half laughed. Khan bent down in pain. His face hardened when he grabbed the Captain's hips and charged her into the control panel in the middle of the deck, taking her by surprise. He kept charging back and forth quickly, crashing her back into the panel again and again.

"AARRGHHHH" The Captain screamed, when her hand darted to Khan's neck and her fingers tug into his throat. Khan stopped and grabbed her hand, trying to release himself from the immense pressure on his wind pipe. He gasped for air. The Captain rose his head up and stared him in the eyes. He struggled under her hold. He slowly started to pull her fingers away, gnawing at them with his own. It was 10 against 5. She starting to lose her grip. Her hold weakened and Khan pulled at her open black hair, his hand by her throat again. Now it was his turn. Her hands rose to his trying to make him let go, but she couldn't make him. She couldn't breathe under his hold and she was unable to use her full strength. But not for long. She kicked his knee inwards and he screamed and clutched it, making him kneel down before her. Khan quickly grasped one of her legs with both his hands and pulled at it, bringing her down with him. She landed on the ground. The two hastily seized and clawed at each other's hair, yanking it so their necks were strained back. Their physical posture mirrored each other's. Their breathing fast, trying to catch up. They looked at each other. Deduced each other's physical state, calculating how long the other could keep going on. Their eyes met and they tried to figure out what the other was thinking. Khan looked at the first set of eyes he had looked at in 50 years. They were the most remarkable, the most unique. Out of all the people he had met, and threatened, and killed and so on, none of them had the same eyes this being had. There was no remorse, or doubt, or weakness, or fear. No fear at all. And it was bewildering. Someone who did not fear Khan, was remarkable indeed. His rage calmed, and his breathing settled. The Captain read his eyes as he did hers, and in an instant, his eyes had changed from rage to fascination. Instead of narrowing themselves at her, they now stared wide-eyed. And the Captain calmed down. What was he planning on doing now? Had he given up? Given in? In the corner of her eye she noticed a gun just a little behind her, and a little to her right. She snapped out of his trance, bent her knees, lowered her back stretched for the gun on the floor behind and rose up again with a gun to Khan's head. She reloaded and placed a finger on the trigger. Khan looked at the head of the gun, then at the being. The Human Vulcan Supreme Being. It was beautiful. Perfect. Not just because of who it was, but how it was. Such a combination of genes didn't matter, it was its spirit that gave its existence meaning. Or her. She seemed female. Khan no longer wanted to kill her. She was too precious a spirit. A spirit like that was destined for greatness. Khan smiled.

The Captain was confused. She had a gun to his head and he was smiling? Did he have any tricks up his sleeve? Was she missing something? She again looked at his face and eyes to show any untruthfulness or deceit. There was none. Only- admiration? She lowered her gun. This was crazy. But somehow she had changed her mind and didn't want to kill this man anymore. It seemed he had not just surrendered, but was thinking of something else as well. She looked at his smiling face. I guess they were both crazy then. She dropped her gun on the floor. She'd better not regret this.

Khan watched the gun fall to the ground. Surprised. There was so much hatred for him in her eyes, how had she changed her mind? He looked at her face again. It was a little confused, but now much calmer. He slowly stood up. The Captain closely watched. Alert. Khan now spoke in his deep, sincere voice,

"You were wrong, Captain." he said.

The Captain really was confused now.

"Wrong? About what?"

She gave him a puzzled expression, to which Khan smiled even further.

"You have mercy after all."
