taehyung and mina walked closely together down the aisles quickly trying to get everything on mina's list. well, mina was going quickly.
they came to the last thing on the list which was ramen packages, then they headed for the checkout. it was quite awkward with taehyung hovering over mina, watching her every move. she had no idea as to why he was sticking around her.
"i think i can take it from here, taehyung." mina said with a smile as they reached the check out line.
"nah i don't trust you. i'm going to make sure you get home safely with those wobbly legs of yours. as a man, i feel it is my responsibility to watch out for children, elders, and beautiful women." he smiles.
"um. okay. which category do i fit in?" she asked in a low voice.
"elders of course." taehyung chuckled.
"haha, very funny."
mina payed for her items and slowly walked out the doors of the supermarket towards her bike. 'oh shit right, my bike is broken. should i just walk home?'
"okay. i think my job is done. how are you getting home?" taehyung asked.
"i can walk home." mina really didn't want him to follow her home, that's the last thing she needs right now; her brother and dad seeing her come home with some boy they've never seen before.
and just then, the rain started back up again, soaking both of them. great
"absolutely not, not in this rain. i'm taking you home." taehyung said sternly, grabbing mina's arm and pulling her towards the parking lot.
"woah woah. no it's really okay i'm fine." mina tried to tell him, but she's not very convincing.
"you don't look fine." taehyung looked her up and down.
well, he's right.
due to the rain, mina's non-waterproof mascara and eyeliner staring rolling down her cheeks, making it look as if she just went through a bad breakup.
"look at you, you've got makeup smudge and running down your face." taehyung brought his hand up to her under-eyes causing mina to flinch. he wiped the mascara off with his sleeve.
"there. all better." he smiled again
"im sorry, now you've got a black stain on your jacket." mina said, very concerned.
"don't worry about it, it'll come out in the wash. now lets get you home, okay?" taehyung took the grocery bags from mina's hands and walking up to the backseat of a car, which mina assumed to be his.
"go ahead and get in the front seat before you get even more sick." taehyung said as he put the bags in the backseat.
mina got into the passenger seat cautiously, being careful not to hurt her knees.
taehyung got into the driver's side and started the car and backed out.
"alright, where to miss mina?" he said in a french accent, as if he was a chauffeur.
"just take a left out that way." mina pointed to the left.
"okay, so. how old are you, myoui mina?" taehyung questioned her.
well, atleast he tried to make conversation. it's better than awkward silence.
"i'm 17. senior in high school. i'll be 18 in a few weeks actually."
"oh really? well i guess you don't fit in the elder category." taehyung laughed.
"well, what category do i fit in?" mina asked with a curious expression, but a smile.
