Mina's p.o.v.

** warning, lots of dialouge**

standing at the dinner table setting down the plates to eat, i heard the front door open up which means my father is home.

"good evening my wonderful children how are you." my dad said happily walking into the kitchen with a wide smile. he must have had a good day.

"i'm doing great, how are you?" ki bum got up from the couch to greet our father, whom he hugged tightly.

"fantastic! i had a good day today." he released the hug and clapped his hands together.

"hello my wonderful daughter, what's for dinner ; it smells amazing." he walked over to me and smiled.

"the usual." i replied with a smile. the 'usual' is the traditional deonjang jjigae stew that we make on saturdays.

"great." he smiled

the three of us sat down at the dinner table to eat. one of the only things we can do as a family nowadays.

"so how was everyone's day?" my father asked while digging into his meal, probably the first one he's had all day.

"well, mina had a pretty eventful afternoon..." ki bum look up at me with a smirk on his face and hooded eyes. i looked at him like he had just stabbed someone, which he pretty much did with me.

i worried about my dad finding out about some boy i brought home and thought i could avoid it but thanks to my wonderful brother, i can't pretend like it didn't happen. it's not that big of a deal to me but to my father, it is. boys that aren't my brother are pests. especially when it comes to me.

"oh really? what happened?" my father looked over to me very curious.

"oh, nothing really happened." i tried to act like it was nothing, i mean it's worth a shot right?

"mina brought home some boy." ki bum interjected, which caused our father to choke on his soup.

"what?!" my father yelled.

i winced and covered my ears quickly. that hurt.

"excuse me? you did what?" my dad asked frantically.

"it wasn't anything bad. i went to the store to get stuff for dinner. my bike chain broke and i hurt myself. he saw me struggling to do things so he helped me out and helped me get home because i didn't have a way to get home other than walking in the rain and he wouldn't let me do that. he helped with the groceries and then left. that's it i promise."

our father looked between my brother and i.

"is this true?" he asked my brother.

"as far as i know. i met him. doesn't seem too bad. i'm grateful that he helped mina but i don't know." ki bum responded.

"yeah. please don't worry, appa. i most likely won't ever seem him again anyway it doesn't matter." i reassured him.

my father sighed.

"alright. i better not see him in this house. even if i do, he better meet my expectations." he continued eating.
