Rising Tide

Chapter 16

Rainy stood on the upper deck and put her arm around her now 9 year old niece's shoulders, they were both looking out over the sea of people on the lower deck boarding for the next month of summer fun.
"Do you see them yet Em?" Rainy asks her beautiful niece.

Em was just about to answer when Harry walks up and kisses the top of her head, then hands Rainy their 3 year old son Steven, and wraps his arms around her still tiny waist. "They just pulled up, Lou sent me a text, Amy is in tears, Tia has been trying to jump out of the car and run the rest of the way for the past mile and Eddie just keeps screaming Rainy." He laughs.

Rainy turns while still in her husband's arm of almost 6 years now. "You can't blame them for being excited, we haven't seen them in almost 6 months, babe." She says brushing some of Harry's long hair off his shoulder.

"Daddy Harry can I go down and meet them please?" Em asks.

"Only if you promise not to try and lose Paul this time, Em he's there for your safety." Harry says. "With Momma Rainy's fame people find you a target to now, we've explained this."

"I promise, but he won't have to follow me everywhere once the ship launches right?" Em asks.

"Right, you'll be more safe then." Harry says as he watches she run off and grabs Paul and pulls him along with her. "You want to head down too? Mini me and I will protect the you." Harry smiles as he kisses his wife lips then his sons cheek.

"Oh yeah, and who will protect you my gorgeous husband?" Rainy asks.

"Are you kidding. No one knows who I am anymore." Harry smiles as they start down toward the main deck. "Unless it's linked to the now famous Rainy Styles." When they hit the main deck they heard a high pitched squeal and knew they'd been seen, especially when Eddie came charging through the crowd toward them.

Rainy catches Eddie just as he get to them, he was about a year older than Steven and best friends just like Em and Tia. "Aunty Rainy, we missed you." Eddie giggle as Rainy kisses his cheek.

"Hey, what about Uncle Curly, didn't you miss me too?" Harry pouts.

"I missed everyone." Eddie yells, causing everyone around to look in their direction.

"Uncle Curly." Tia cries as she runs up and carefully gives him a hug since he was still holding Steven.

Harry passed Steven to Em so he could wrap both arms around the girl he loved so much. "Hey Bug, how's my girl?"

"Good now that we're all together again." Tia says pulling away so she could give her Aunt Rainy a hug too.

Once all the greeting were done Rainy told everyone that their rooms were all side by side and that yes Em and Tia had their own room but Paul would be standing guard so there would be no sneaking around.

"Who would have thought it would have taken us 6 almost 7 years to take another vacation cruise." Amy says.

"And this time it's Rainy taking a year off touring instead of Harry and I." Louis adds.

Rainy glances at the girls as they sat catching up on whatever it was those two thought was important. She then looks at her amazing husband and good friends. "I just decided I needed a break." She says. "I went through Steven's pregnancy while touring." Rainy grins. "I'm not doing that again." She adds, then waits for Harry to catch what she just said.

"Well..." Harry starts to say then stops and turns and looks at his wife. "What did you just say?" He asks.

Suddenly Amy gasps and covers her mouth.

Rainy smiles and looks at Harry. "I said..."

"Fuck it, I heard what you said." Harry cries and picks his wife up and hugs her. He then screams. "We're gonna have a baby." Making Rainy laugh.

"Geeze Daddy Harry, you act like you've never gone through this before." Em giggles

"Geeze, Em it's been 3 years give me a break." Harry counters causing everyone to laugh.

"This is so amazing, once again our kids can grow up together and be best friends." Amy says as she wipes away her tears. "I'm pregnant again too."

"Woohoo." Louis yells as he hugs his wife. When he sits her back down Amy and Rainy hug and cry.

"Oh man, at least we have each other for the next year." Tia tells Em.

"Yeah, otherwise they will drive us nuts." Em says causing the adults to laugh.

"Excuse me." Robert says. "I have had about 30 requests here asking if the amazing Rainy and Harry Styles with grace us with their voices. I know you're on a year break now so it's your choice."

Rainy looks at Harry. "I'll only agree if Lou plays guitar." Rainy says.

Louis nods and stands. "What song are you two singing?"

"The one Tia and Em wrote. It's on this latest album coming out they just don't know it yet." Harry says.

Louis starts playing the song and when Rainy and Harry start singing they watch the reaction of the girls they love so much.

Em and Tia were talking about what they wanted to to all summer, not really paying to much attention to what Harry and Rain were singing at first, then they realized it was their song. Slowly they both raised their heads and looked at the couple looking right back at them. When the song was over it was Harry who spoke because Rainy was crying.

"That's the first time that song has ever been sung in public, it's on Rainy's album that's coming out next month and will be the first single released next week." Harry tells everyone there. "And yes I did sing it with her, but we didn't write this one like all the others. Our niece's Em and Tia wrote this one. That's why we picked it as her first single." Harry adds as the girls run up and hug them both. "We just hope "Leather and Lace" make these two girls as happy as it has made their aunt and I." Harry says.
