It was on the coldest day of winter, on a quiet and still late afternoon, six millennia before the day our story starts. The Earth seemed dead, the ground was hard and covered in frost, it would be snowing later on. No animal wanted to leave their homes on this day, except maybe a rouge wolf or two.
Though that meant no one would hear the trees speaking, or maybe it was the Nymphs that were restless inside them. The trees were bare and black from the cold, there couldn't possibly be something in them.
Yet there was, most people just didn't believe it. The Earth was crying out a warning that it heard from an unknown creature from that time, maybe an oracle or a seer looking into the very, very far future, and so the Nymphs, obeying the Earth, would also carry on this warning:
I have warned you time and time again,
Don't fall in love demon,
For your time will come to an end.
Do not blame me for your own desires
A woman's spirit will lift you higher.
Her rage will destroy everything dear,
It is better not to get near.
You will turn to ash,
All because of your unfair past.
I have warned you not to fall,
It would be wise to heed my call.
Miles away from where the warning had been spoken, a long time later, a thunderstorm was shaking this part of the world, like drums of war pounding against the atmosphere.
The Earth was once again sending a warning of upcoming doom.
It was incredibly dark, letting no one see three inches in front of themselves. No one had electricity; the streets were flooding so no one could leave. This was bad considering one woman's water had broken right then and there. Had anyone been outside they would have ran the other way from the louder-than-thunder screaming.
The Earth shook harder, unknown to the humans what was happening, for it seemed like a normal storm. Though this young woman wasn't as scared as a first timer would be, she had done this four other times, but this was still different; they were still at home and wouldn't make it to the hospital. The woman's sister was there thankfully, and she had the knowledge of what to do.
The sound of thunder cracking above the little cabin home almost covered the noise of a small cry of a newborn.
The aunt of the newest addition of this family smiled. If you'd listened hard enough you would have heard her whisper "Sister, it's a girl". She was handed to the mother, who smiled warmly at the baby in her arms. But that smile would vanish when no one was looking. In a few years the woman wouldn't care if people saw that she no longer smiled at the girl, or according to her, the monster.
"What will you name her?" the mother almost missed the question that came from her five-year-old son. She smiled at the boy, a true smile, she let him name her. This boy, the one who would learn quickly who his mother truly was, loved gemstones, so he named her after his favorite gem.
Her name would be Jade. This had all happened five millennia after the first warning, there would be more, so much later in time after the first warning that in twenty years or so, every warning would have been in vain, no matter who tried to stop it and how.
But of course they didn't know when The Rage would be born, and more and more supernatural beings would give up day after day, not believing it would ever come to pass. The ones who didn't give up thought they had all the time they would need.
Oh how wrong they were.
You see this is no fairytale. You can't just "bippity boppity boo" your problem out of existence. Oh no, that would be too easy. And nothing in this world, even a supernatural one, is easy.
That would take all the fun out of it.

Herro dere
I hope you've enjoyed the first part of this new story. Feedback would be appreciated, like what I did well and what I could do better.
Don't worry I won't post an authors note on every chapter, but on each one there will be a word count. It's mostly so I can see if I've grown any in writing. Once I have written the whole story, or maybe once in a while, between updates, I will go back an edit to see if I can fix stuff.
Anywhores, have an awesome day Puppets
Word count: 670 [Don't worry I can do better :p]
