Chapter 3: The Move

May 24 Tanisha's P.O.V

Today is the day of the big move to Chalmette, Louisiana. I decide to go say goodbye to all of my friends here in town with Ashlee starting with Ashlyn and Cami since they will be the hardest to say goodbye to. After that I go to my best friend Danny cause he is having a really hard time with me moving away. After a few more hours of goodbyes I go back to my house with all of Ashlee's stuff from her house and we get all of it into the moving van and leave for Louisiana. I ride with Ashlee and we listen to all of her CDs for the whole seven and a half hour drive to Chalmette. An hour before we arrive to Chalmette we are listening to Katy Perry's Peacock and I am extremely hungry and I call my dad, "Hey dad me and Ashlee are really hungry. Can we stop and get something to eat real quick?" He sighs, "Yes but we have to hurry up so we are getting the food to go." I smile, "Ok dad meet us at Taco Bell at the next exit."

I hang up and look at Ashlee, "Take this exit to go to Taco Bell babe." She nods and gets off the highway and pulls into the Taco Bell parking lot. As we park we get out and go order inside. I order a Nacho Bel Grande and Ashlee orders a three taco meal. After we order and get our food to go we finish the ride to our new Chalmette house. As we get to our new house I am stunned at how it's only half the size as our old house, "Why did we have to move into this house?" Ashlee looks at me, "Babe at least you have a house to live in even with me here. That's all that matters." I smile, "You're right Ashlee. Now lets get everything unpacked." Ashlee nods and we get all of our stuff into our shared master bedroom and unpack everything.

10:25pm Ashlee's P.O.V

After a grueling 7 hours of unpacking we are only halfway done so Tanisha and I decide to call it a night and get some rest. I throw on my Ireland flag onsie pajamas and Tanisha throws her Australia flag onsie pajamas on and we crawl into bed and fall asleep.

2:05am Tanisha's P.O.V

I am woken up to a loud crash in coming from the kitchen. I get my baseball bat and walk into the kitchen to see who is in the house. As I get into the kitchen I see someone dressed in all black assumed to be a man and is going through our medicine cabinet. I sneak up behind the person and wack them upside the head with my bat making him fall to the ground and look at me. I take a step back cause his eyes are a yellow color and I back up even more. The man stands up and walks towards me and has me cornered against the nearest wall, "You're just the meal I was looking for beautiful." I drop my bat and struggle against his grip and then out of nowhere he bites my shoulder and forearm. I scream in pain loud enough to get both Ashlee and my dad into the kitchen. I scream again as the man bites my neck and then looks at my dad and girlfriend then runs out the back door. I fall to the ground in agonizing pain and look at Ashlee, "Babe help me. The pain won't go away! Owwwwww!"

Ashlee runs to my side and holds me, "I'm here Tanisha. I'm right here. Just breathe." I start to take deep breaths and finally after 2 hours the pain is gone and the wounds heal instantly. I look at her in surprise, "My wounds healed instantly. That never happens." She nods in agreement, "You're right Nisha. That never happens. Unless it was a hybrid like the ones we see in The Vampire Diaries." I look at her, "I think you're right babe. Cause I'm starting to-." All of a sudden my bones start to break like in The Vampire Diaries when the wolves start to change on a full moon. Ashlee stands back and I look at her, "Stand back babe. I don't want you to get hurt in this process." Ashlee stands back and after 1 grueling hour of bones breaking and pain I'm turned completely into a wolf with white and black fur with bright purple eyes.
