I have Loved and Lost

I have longed, lived, and most importantly I have Loved,
But to hear the sound of growing children inside of my Beloved's womb is an impeccable feeling.

To hear the pitter patter of their heartbeats,
Expands my own dead heart to new euphoria.

To feel my children's kicks as I caress My Beloved,
Leaves me breathless with need.

And yet I know there will come a day when her human heart will beat it's last.
For she does not have long in this murderess world.

And yet she stands brave,
For she only fears of dieing before birthing my children.

And yet I know my children might not last just as she did,
For my kind is being hunted and murdered.

I have longed, lived, and most importantly I have Lost,
But to not have my Beloved is a great sadness.

To not hear a sound come from their dead hearts,
Crushes my own dead heart to immense sorrow.

To not feel my children as I once did,
Leaves me breathless with need.

For I have longed, lived, and most importantly I have Lost.
