Normal POV

Jill glares at Josh and Frank arguing again for the 3rd time today.

"How was I suppose to know that thing was there?! You never told me!" Josh yells.

"You never ask at all! Its your fault that you walked into it!" Frank yells as he glares at Josh.

"Will you two just shut up?! We're visiting mom after school!" Daniel said glancing off to the side when their dad was. Josh and Frank shut up fast. The bus turns the corner and pulls up. The kids get on and Jason drives off after the bus passed him.

~At school~

Jill's POV

Josh looks around as we stepped off the bus with the other students. Frank waves to the high school across the street from the middle school. We turned and saw Johnny, Frank's older brother, there waving at us with his friends beside him. We waved back before inside the gates.

As we walked Daniel got shoved into a locker.

"Look at what we have here, fellows! Two freaks, an idiot, and a cutie!" A guy said laughing with his two friends as I helped Daniel up and Josh stood in front of us.

"Hey bastard. You got a problem with us?!" Josh asked glaring at him. The boy stops laughing glares at Josh. The boy is an inch taller than Josh.

"Yeah, I do! You need to learn your place." The boy said as he grabbed Josh by the collar of his shirt.

"Ray. Dude. Come on. Lets just go." One of his friends said and the boy, Ray, growls as he lets go of Josh.

"Thus isn't over." Ray said as they walked off. Josh straightens his shirt as he glares at Ray.

"Lets go, Josh. We don't need you to get in a fight. We all know how that's gonna end." Frank said and Josh nods. We head to the office and got our schedule. We had one class together and lunch, but most of our classes are the same and in different periods. It's just now 1st period and we separated into different directions.

Josh's POV

I looked at my schedule for the 5th time and back at the door. Well then! Looks like the right door. Even though we had a tour of the school by dad. I knocked and I heard shuffling. The door opens and the teacher looks at me.

"You must the new student. Come in." She said. She looks like a well respected young woman being close to, I think, the age 40 though she doesn't look like it. I can tell she is.

I nodded and follow her in.

"Introduce yourself and what you do for fun." Ms. Dove said and I nodded.

"Hi. My name is Josh and I train with my twin brother, my little sister, and our two cousins." I said.

"Any questions for Josh? Yes, Pam." Ms. Dove said when a girl raised her hand.

"What kind training do you do?" Pam asked.

"I'm sorry, but that's classified." I said and she pouts. Another girl raised her hand and I pointed to her.

"Do you have a girlfriend?" She asked as she batted her eyelashes. I almost laughed. Almost.

"Sorry. I don't see anyone here that meets my standards." I said and she huffs.

"Maybe I changed that." She said with a wink. I narrowed my eyes.'Bitch.' I thought.

"Anyways. You can sat next to....Ray." Ms. Dove said. 'Say what now?' I thought as I looked around and spotted him. We both glare at each other.

"Josh. Take your seat now." Ms. Dove said in a stern tone and I walked over to my desk. I sat down next to Ray. 'Great. Can this day get any worse?' I thought.

"Alright class. Welcome to your first day of school. I'll pair you with a partner for tour first assignment." Ms. Dove said and starts calling off names.

"Dixie and Pam. Greg and Trish. Ray and Josh. Kim and Ramey...." Ms. Dove said as she continues. I looked at her.'You got to be kidding me! I'm paired with him?!' I thought.

"Ms. Dove? Can I have a new partner! This one will mess up the assignment!" Ray said and Ms. Dove turns to us.

"Mr. Ray. You will be nice to Mr. Josh here. You don't want an F, do you?" Ms. Dove asked. Ray huffs as he glares at me.

"No ma'am." Ray muttered and Ms. Dove nods.

"Alright. The assignment is that you and your partner will be working together to make a glow-in-dark animal. You will be doing this at your home or your partner's home. Good luck and come to me once you picked an animal you'll be doing." Ms. Dove said as some groan and some cheered. I banged my head against the desk.

"Try not to mess up. We'll do this damn assignment at your house." Ray said and I turned my head to him.

"Fine by me. I don't give a damn about what you think." I said and he growled as he turns to the teacher. An hour passed and the bell rings. I got up and walked out the door. I stopped when I realized I left my bag. 'This day just keeps getting better and better.' I thought sarcastically.

"Damn it!" I muttered as I turned around and crashed into someone. I stumbled back and caught my balance. I looked up to see Ray there.

"What do you want?" I growled at him. Ray growls and held up my bag.

"You left this. Here!" Ray said as he shoves it in my arms.

"Thanks, I guess." I said and Ray walks off to his next class. I walked down the hall to my next class.

'I hope the others are having a better day than me.' I thought as I walked through the door of my 2nd class.
