Addicted to the bad boy

Chapter 8

Blake dropped me off a while ago, he wanted to stay but I kicked him out, I just had to let everything sink in. I looked outside to see the huge number of guards surrounding my house, I rolled my eyes and continued to watch my favorite show, Grey's Anatomy.

I was soon interrupted when my doorbell went off. I got up and opened the door to be greeted by a Kourtney and Cole.

Kourtney looked beyond ecstatic and pulled me into a hug.

"Emma" she said cheerfully

"Kourtney" I replied laughing

"I love you" she said

"I love you too?" I replied confused

"So Blake wants to see you.. its a super secret surprise so I can't tell you! But you have to get in the car" Cole blurted out and I sighed softly.

"Oh okay"

I looked over to Kourtney and she was grinning like a mad man

What does he have planned?

A short drive later and we pulled up to the woods?

"Oh god your gonna kill me" I sighed dramatically "Make it quick"

I heard a deep chuckle from the woods and suddenly Blake appeared... I smiled softly and walked up to him, wrapping my arms around his shoulders and nuzzling his nose.

"Hi baby" he whispered against my lips

I hummed against his lips making a deep growl erupt from his throat

"I have a surprise for you" he said sounding excited, I looked at him skeptically but nonetheless followed him down a trail through the woods.

As we were walking down the trail a huge barn started to come into view. I followed Blake into the barn and there sat a little puppy! He had a rose on his red collar, it had a note attached.

Emma Lynn Delace I like you like a lot, your beautiful in every single way, your smile, your laugh, your body, mmmm yeah your body, I know I'm known as a player and the bad boy and yes I lead a gang but I'll protect you forever, will you be my girlfriend?

I felt my eyes water, but it wasn't sad tears this time. I turned around and there was Blake with a silver promise ring in his hand.

"I promise to love you, to cherish you, I promise to help you grow, and to help you heal. As long as you take me for who I am, the incredibly handsome bad boy who loves you." he joked as I ran to him, wrapping my arms around him tight.

"I'll always take you for who you are Blake Ryder."

Then I shrieked and went down to my knees and picked him up the puppy

"What should your name be little one"

The puppy looked at me with one floppy ear and I chuckled.

"Marley"

The puppy whined

"Mason"

He got excited and jumped down to wag his tail

"Well aren't you excited" I laughed

Mason was right by my feet, I walked away a little and he followed

I tried walking farther and the puppy continued to follow me

I laughed and picked him up

"Someone loves me a little too much" I smiled

Me and Blake made the trip back to the car where Kourtney and Cole were playfully arguing. I looked up at Blake and then at my friends, and then at my new puppy.

Yeah... I'm gonna be just fine.
