The Beginning (Joey)

This first chapter is set in medieval times from Joey Graceffa's perspective. I know that he lived with his Mum and older sister when he was young, but in this story he lives with his father who is the king, and his mother and older sister in a more wholesome home (but also not). I suppose the father is really his stepdad in real life, and you will discover I do mention the fact that his mother was an alcoholic later on. (By the way sorry Daniel, you're weren't a peasant xD)

I was a teenager, but a child. At fifteen years old, I was a lonely prince, and my father had been searching for decent, pretty, and first class girls all round my state, even my country, but there were none I clicked with. My father didn't understand, even I didn't fully understand. I'd wander the streets at the darkest point of night, scared of what people thought of me, thinking that I was stubborn and too picky to truly find love in anyone.

I went to school at a posh school full of snubs who thought I was disgusting the way the best of the best girls were thrown at me and I pushed them away. They didn't understand me, and I didn't understand them. I left them to themselves. The majority of them left me to myself, except one; Shane Dawson. He was hard on me, and said I was to snobby and it was uncool the way I rejected women.

I was stuck in a cloud of other people's thoughts. He doesn't deserve the good they give him, he shouldn't be so mean, when will he find someone. I couldn't hang around all these people who didn't get me, my only opportunity was to go to the darkest part of town, where the peasants hung around.

I was afraid of going to these parts, because I knew a lot of these people would not like me, find me repulsive because of the way I abused my authority, but apparently I was wrong. I found the Preda's, a small, cozy home with a family of four, old lady, her son and his wife, and their child, Daniel Christopher Preda.
