The Marauders

Chapter 1

(4th Year) Also, yesterday was Padfoot's birthday so HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY PADFOOT. Please comment your birthday wishes.

"SIRIUS ORION BLACK!" Remus shouted as he wiped water from his eyes.

Sirius snickered and stuck out his tongue. James and Peter came barreling through, James holding a  smoke bomb and Peter with ash in his hair.

James and Sirius ran out of the dorm and into the common room, yelling the whole way down.

It was 5:30 a.m. and James and Sirius were pranking again.

"Boys! Get out of here!" A prefect was walking down the stairs towards them.

"RUN!" All the boys were now safely in the outside corridor and were panting for breath.

"Hey Moony! I'm sorry for waking you up with some water." Sirius said in a sarcastic, girly voice. He was mocking Moony.

Moony glared and said "I'd watch it if I were you Padfoot."

Padfoot looked frightened for a moment, but covered it up with an eye roll.

Peter lightly punched Prongs on the shoulder. "You too Prongs."

They passed the library and a red headed girl came out with a small pile of books. James began jogging towards her.

"Lily!" The girl ignored him.

"Lily!" Lily ignored him still.

"LILY!" Lily turned around.

"What do you want Potter?"  Lily had never been very fond of James. But James was fond of her. Everyday, he would ask her the same question, "Will you go out with me?" And everyday she would reply with a simple "No."

"Will you go out with me?" James asked hopefully.

"No." Lily continued walking.

But James was persistent.

"Lily Evans. Will you go out with me?"

"For the last time Potter, no!" She angrily stormed off.

"It's ok Prongs. She probably just doesn't want to tell you she likes you."

"Or...she's secretly dating Snivellus." Prongs said. Recently, he's been obsessed with bullying Severus Snape. Severus
Snape was a greasy black-haired boy who liked to mix potions. He was also one of Lily Evans' best friends.

Sirius rolled his eyes. "That greaseball? Nah."

Later...

"Hey Snivellus!" James said and ran off to go bully Severus.

Severus was reading a book when he saw James running at him.

He started to get up but James had already got his wand out.

"Have you been dating Lily?" He asked.

"No!" Severus cried

"Wingardium Leviosa." James said and Severus's books were flying high above him. And then they dropped on his head.

"OW!"

A chorus of laughter followed. "Stay away Snivellus. From Lily too." James sneered. 

The group walked away from the greasy haired boy called Severus Snape.
