Jake's POV
I went way too far. I hurt her and she turned. It was obviously a surprise to her, does she even know what she is? I should've been there for her and eased her into this instead of thinking power could overtake her. Nothing can overtake her. I need to realize that we are equals if even that. It's hard to give up my power like this. I mean my mom would never speak to my father like that or she wouldn't be able to walk for a month. I never knew really what he did to her but whatever it was made her quiet about what happened before. I love her, I mean how could I not? She is perfect in every way possible and undeniably meant for me. I have to make it up to her or I may never get the chance.
