Third persons pov;;
Rain slowly fell as she took her time walking down the street, her head down at all times, avoiding everyone. She loathed the spotlight or any sort of attention. But of course, she wasn't always like this. As years went by, she slowly lost her confident happy self, and gave into her demons. Needless to say, she hated it, of course she did, she wanted her happy self-back, she wanted to smile and laugh as she walked down the street with her friends.
But most of all, she wanted her family complete again, she missed the days her dad would come and pick her up from school on rainy days like these, she missed him taking her for ice cream only to be scolded by her mother when they got back. She missed it all-everything she had taken for granted, she wanted it back.
It's been almost two years since he left her and her mum. For two years now she's felt his absence. She wanted him back, no she needed him back. For two years now, she suffered the biggest loss a teenage girl could ever face, she lost the most special person to her-she lost her dad.
All she needed was a getaway, an escape from her past, all she needed was to start again. Was that too much to ask for? Isn't that what everyone wanted? To start again and be happy, or was she just being selfish? She furiously shook her head, earning a few weird glares from any strangers passing by. She wasn't selfish, if anything she was selfless, she gave up her childhood to look after her younger siblings and fill in the fatherly figure they were missing, she was anything but selfish.
Jihyo slowly trudged down the busy road, she was of course in no hurry to get home, she would much rather stay outside stuck in her own little paradise than have to face reality again. All her life, she dreamt about what life would be like when she was all grown up, about how she would tour the world with her father, filming everything they could. She dreamt of how their movie would become a hit, how she would live life peacefully with her father in some remote area, away from the loud drama that is the real world. Ever since then, Jihyo has had her mind set on touring the world, filming everything so that when she could finally meet her dad again, she would tell him, they would laugh to each other as she told him everything stupid that she done. He would be a shoulder for her to cry on as she spoke about all the beautiful and amazing people that she met along the way. But of course, there was always one obstacle, and in Jihyo's case, it was her mother.
Her mother wasn't exactly the most loving motherly figure, everything from her pale skin to her thin pink lips reflected her mother's cold-hearted personality. Jihyo had tried to create that warm and loving mother-daughter bond, but it was impossible. It was completely impossible to try and get her mother to open up to her, in fact it was impossible to get her mother to look at her without scowling in disgust.
But none of that mattered to Jihyo, all she wanted to do was make her father happy, and the only way she can do that is by fulfilling her wish and making herself happy.
She rushed down the street, not paying much attention to all the different shop, not until she got to the end of the street. Slowly she read the sign, 'Cinelab -where the magic happens', underneath the neon sign was a much smaller piece of paper with 'URGENT HELP NEEDED' written in big handwriting. Help needed? Was this finally her chance to get into the film industry? Jihyo peered into the shop trying to be as calm as possible, examining everything as she done so. To her right there was a mini studio set up, with tons of cameras and professional lights, and to her left was an empty reception area.
'Are you here to sign up?' Jihyo jumped in shock at the soft voice, she stood there in awe, and she must have been staring as the lady soon coughed and asked again,
'Hi, I'm Choi Sooyoung. Are you here to sign up for the documentary filming' she said with an inviting smile.
Jihyo put her head down and slowly whispered 'Oh...um yes I guess'. Sooyoung clapped in joy that she had finally met her deadline and recruited someone.
'That's great! Thank you so much, honestly I don't know what I would be doing if you hadn't come in! But before I get ahead of myself, can I just ask a few questions, you know, about you and your experience?'
Jihyo slowly nodded and began to answer Sooyoung, she stated her name, age, date of birth, medical questions and of course, if she had had any experience with filming, well of course she had, after all, she is a film student.
By this point, Sooyoung was finding it quite hard to contain herself, she had finally found the right person. She half-ran and half skipped over to her desk to phone up her boss to share her happy news. As you would expect, her boss was ecstatic at the fact that Sooyoung had found what she claimed to be the most perfect person for the job. Meanwhile, Jihyo sat in the reception room, playing around with her fingers, scared of what job to expect, she didn't anticipate a big job, just some basics like maybe running errands for the boss? But what Sooyoung had planned for her was going to blow her mind.
'So ...Jihyo, was it? I suggest you go home and pack, ooo maybe even do a bit of shopping and say bye to who you need to, I mean you aren't going to be home for quite a long time.'
'W...What?' Sooyoung's statement made Jihyo's head rise for the first time today. Why would she be gone for ages? Was she being kidnapped? Was this all a trick?
'Well I mean, you're going on tour with BTS all summer! Lucky you, I've heard that they're all really attractive, and they're our age!'
'BTS?'
