I'm walking home from the hospital. I told Octavia a few hours ago to head to the house to get some rest. When I get to my house my family is there. "Mom, Dad! Big Bro! What are you doing here?" Spinning Records, my brother, smiles. "Just thought we should come and see how you are doing." I open my door and walk inside. My family follows. Octavia walks out of our room rubbing her eyes. "Who's here Vinyl?" She says very sleepishly. "Its my family!" I say to her. "Oh well it's nice to meet you. I'm Octavia. I'm Vinyl's marefriend." My family looks at me confused "Marefriend? You mean you two are lesbians?" Spinning Records says. "Yeah." I say. My dad stomps forward. "NO DAUGHTER OF MINE IS A LESBIAN!!! THAT IS DISGRACEFUL!!!!" I get ticked and tell back. "HOW DARE YOU!!!! THIS IS MY LIFE AND I WILL LIVE IT ANY WAY I CHOOSE!!! YOU CAN'T COME IN HERE UNANNOUNCED AND INSULT US!!!! GET THE HELL OUT!!!! They walk out the door I slam the it and lock it. I then give Octavia a hug. "I'm sorry for how my parents acted. They can be real jerks sometimes." She smiles gently. "Its ok. We have eachother and that's what's important." She then kisses my cheek and we go to my room to get some rest before our big show the next day.
