Forbidden Encounters

Chapter One

I can hear is laugh, even see his eyes sparkle. I an picture the ease in which he walks. He is my forbidden love.. It all started with a silly dream, one that started with hello. And with that one word I was sucked into a world of disaster and pain and.. A happy ending? I suppose I should start at the beginning, I saw him my first day of Freshman year. I started the year like everyone else, sacred of a new school, wanting to fit in. I wanted normal so much then, probably because I've never felt normal. I wasn't popular, I wasn't beautiful, I was plain and nerdy.

As I walked through the gates of Frank High School I felt nervous but also excited.
"Hey baby!" I glanced toward the male voice and saw Alex running toward me.
"Hi" I whispered as he hugged me. Alex and I have been friends for two years but this past summer something happened, we got older and feelings changed; We became a couple right before school started, it seemed natural up until today. Wanting to get away from him I suddenly felt hungry, a new feeling as I never ate breakfast. "Hey I'm going to grab from food before class, want anything?"
"Nah baby I see my boys over there, I'll catch up with you after first class?" Alex looked like he was in a hurry so I nodded, glad to be rid of him. Wow that sounds terrible Anna, I thought to myself as I walked into the cafeteria.
As usual the lunch room was alive with people, excitement hummed through the air as it was the first day. I took a deep breath and walked over to stand in line. "Hello." A deep husky voice said from behind me. I turned to be greeted by one of the hottest guys I've ever seen
"Hey" I responded almost breathless. "Busy this morning huh?" He giggled
"Yeah, first day here is always like this. Are you a freshman? I haven't seen you before and it's a small school."
"Yeah" I smiled, "that obvious?" He melted me with his returning smile
"I just never forget a pretty face. Maybe I'll catch you later?" He said as we ended the line.
"I'd like that." I said as butterflies filled my stomach. Did that just happen? I bit my lip as the bell rang. Crap I'm going to be late on my first day! I threw away my food, suddenly not hungry and started toward my first class, world history.
"Anna!" Krissy yelled as I entered the door of AP world history. Instantly I smiled, Krissy has been my best friend since my old BFF moved, it was really nice to have someone to talk to again.
"Hey Krissy! This is so exciting! I can't believe we have the same class." She laughed
"Well there isn't many AP world history classes, but I'm happy too. Here sit with me, we can be partners in here. I herd this teacher is really tough."
"Great, class hasn't even started and I'm already worried" I joked, kind of. The tardy bell rang and class started. I gazed out the window for most of it, I could get that guy out of my head. His molten gold eyes, that smile, that body. Woah woah woah snap out of it Anna, you have a boyfriend. Alex, you should be thinking about Alex! Then again Alex doesn't give me butterflies. No! You met mr hottie one time, you have no idea who he is, Stop it. The bell rang again, this time dismissing us. "I'll see you later Krissy, I gotta go."
"Uh okay bye!" She hollered as I ran out of the room. What do I do? I forget about mr hottie that's what I do. He wouldn't want a freshman anyway, much less me. I avoided Alex who was looking for me by my locker and went straight to English. I was thankful I didn't see anyone I knew and sat down in the back, closest to the window. I took a deep breath and took out my books for the class when I herd someone sit next to me, I glanced over and saw Alex. Crap.
"Hey stranger, everything okay? I was looking for you." I nodded quickly and made up a lie about going to the bathroom then not wanting to be late. "Hey that's okay, at least we have class together." Alex was a sweet guy, but like with everyone there's more than appears. He has a lot of baggage to be honest. At my age, at my zero experience with guys, I'm just not equipped to handle it.

I first saw him around lunch making friends and joking around, truly a carefree life. Then, later in my gym class and finally at my friends sixteenth birthday party. I was so excited to talk to him, this is my chance! I walked over towards him, a smile on my face until I saw who was close behind him and holding his hand..Yup, my friend... I kept a forced smile when she came right up to me, I gave her her gift and complemented her party. She had such an evil smile on as she saw the look on my face, she wrapped her hands around him as she introduced him as her boyfriend. I should've know then I was in for a long one.. I pushed through the party until it moved outside, there were only her close friends left as well as her new boy toy and myself. I watched from the tree as they drank and played spin the bottle and in the middle of this I felt more alone then ever. I jumped down from the tree and went out towards the front of the house pretending I had a call, I just needed to get away.. She was supposed to be my friend so I should be happy for her right? I felt betrayed.. a quiet voice interrupted my thoughts and I stiffened. "you ok?" It was him, Eric.
"Yeah." i replied even as my voice broke.
"Hey hey it's ok, why don't you come back to the party?" he asked as he swooped me in for one of his famous bear hugs.
"I think I should just go home.. I don't belong here, I should've realized that from the start." I started to walk away only to be caught my his hand grabbing mine.
"Please." I took a deep breath and knew I couldn't ever say no to him. he was already becoming my weakness. I nodded my head and let him lead me back to the party where she did noting but hang on him for the rest of the night. I joined in the party but I still felt I shouldn't be there.
"Ana!" Lani screamed. great. I turned and gave her my best fake smile
"What's up?"
"You should totally spend the night!" she exclaimed jumping up and down
"Oh I don't know if-"
"I already called your mom she's totally cool with it!"
"Oh, alright." I said trying to match her tone but honestly failing. I was going to die tonight and I had no way out.
"Yay! oh my gosh were gonna have so much fun!! I picked out some movies and the popcorn is almost ready." she winked at me as she dragged my into the living room. I came to a dead stop as mr.sexy himself walked in with the popcorn
"Hey, you girls ready?" he smiled and sat down by lani. Maybe tonight wouldn't be all that bad after all.
"Yeah" I replied "I thought everyone went home?"
"Oh he's spending the night." lani replied with a giggle.
"Oh" I said and blushed as he sent me a wink.
