What Is Good Enough? (Adopted by Pierce the Veil fanfic)

Chapter 2

                                                          *Caylie's P.O.V.*

Wow. Okay. So that happened.... Me and my best friend got adopted by THE Pierce The Veil! Honestly, I'm super excited, but kinda nervous. I'm a shy, awkward person. 

      Lyenze and I go upstairs to our room, and the second that door closes, we fangirled so hard that if anyone saw they would have thought we were having a tantrum! After a minute we finally calm down. "I can't believe WE got adopted by PIERCE THE VEIL!" Lyenze says, her grin stretching widely across her face. I'm sure mine matches hers. "I know! I can't wait until we get there! It is going to be amazing!" I agree with her. I go to my closet and grab my Pierce The Veil suitcases, and begin carefully throwing my clothes into the bags. Lyenze does the same.

I go into the bathroom to grab the rest of my stuff. I grab all of it and then walk to the middle of the wall. I crouch down and reach into the small hole, grabbing a tiny box. Not just any tiny box. THE tiny box. The one that holds my blades. I go to put the box in my bag, when Tony knocks on the door frame. "Hey! You almost done?" he says, then his eyes land on the box. "What's that?" he asks kind of suspiciously. "Yeah I'm almost done and... um... it's nothing..." I stammer at the end. He approaches me, and takes the box from me, opening it. His eyes widen. "Why do you have these? Let me see your scars." He doesn't even ask to see them. He demands. "Um... ok... but you have to give me a second to change into a pair of shorts..." I say to him. He walks out, closing the door behind him. I change into the first pair of shorts I see in my bag. "Tony! You can come back in!" I say. He walks in, walking right up to me. I tell him that they are on my thighs, and he crouches down for a better look. He runs his fingertips over them, one by one. What he does next surprises me just a little. He kisses each one of them individually. When he finishes, he pops back up, grabs both my hands, looking me in the eyes, and says, "Promise me you won't do it again?!" He says it pleadingly. I hesitate, him noticing. "I know it isn't easy to just STOP, but please, just try. For me?" He asks, kind of desperately. "Ok, I promise I will try my best." I say, hesitantly. He embraces me in a hug, then when he releases from the hug, he takes the contents of the box, and flushes them. I watch as they swirl around, then disappear. It's a weird feeling, like someone just took a huge weight off of my shoulders. I feel instant relief. "Come on! The others are waiting!" He says, grabbing my hand and leading me out of the bathroom I have come to know well.  We go downstairs, and as soon as the others see us, they start heading out to the car. I notice Lyenze stop, look around, smile, then walk out, Jaime grabbing her hand. I'll be sure to ask about that later... Tony and I walk to the door. I stop, and so does he. I take a long look around the room. That couch. That desk. That table. Those curtains. That lamp. Those stairs. All of it so familiar. All of it has become my life. All of it is going to become a memory. This is no longer my home. No longer my life. I smile, and lead Tony out of the place that I have always called home. I walk through those doors. But I am not just walking out into the parking lot. I am walking into my new life. Goodbye Caylie Hale. Welcome Caylie Fuentes.

A/N:  Well. I'm not one to make excuses, but I got my phone broken, when I did have it though, I wasn't allowed to have it after school. Also, I couldn't update it at school because our school for some reason, blocked Wattpad on their wifi. I will try a lot harder to update more. I'll have much more time during the summer. Right now school is kicking my butt. Anyway you don't care about my life.. so um. What do you think so far? Feedback is awesome! I had a couple of people asking me to update, so I thought I'd do it tonight. Have you guys heard the new Pierce the Veil album? It is incredible!! Comment your favorite song.
