Taylor's POV:

My manager was pissed. "I know, I know. I'm sorry. I was at the record store and lost track of time. I'll be ready in 10." I said. "You better be." He yelled as I ran into the tour bus.

I threw on some eyeliner, shadow, mascara and lipstick. Threw on a band tee and some jean shorts, popped on my black combat boots and headed to the stage door. "Okay, I'm ready." I said. I looked around for a second and tried to find Kurt. I guess we was still getting ready.

"You're on in 20 seconds, better head up there." My manager said. "Alrighty. Ben, you ready?" "As I'll ever be. Mark and Jamie are already up there." "Cool." I smiled.

Ben ran up to start the song, and I followed a couple seconds later. "How's everyone doing tonight!?" I yelled and started the first song.

Kurt's POV:

"Shit man, I'm so sorry for being late. I had no idea what time it was and was talking to this cool girl. Anyway, I guess I'll meet them after the show. Since I have time, I'll listen to them beforehand though." I said. The lights went down. I could see the silhouette of a skinny girl with long hair walk up on stage. The drummer started hitting the symbol, and the lights came on. "How's everyone doing tonight!?" "No fucking way." I said to myself. It was her. The girl from the record store. I couldn't believe it.

"Dave! Get over here!" I yelled. "I met that girl a little bit ago at the vinyl store!" I said. "No shit? Well, she seems pretty good." He said. No wonder she needed to get back so soon. She had to go and get ready to open up for us! I was still in shock. I'm pretty sure I was gonna be for the rest of their set. She was amazing. I had to talk to her more.

Their guitarist reminded me of a younger Jimmy Page. He looked like him, especially. The first song ended and I was in awe.

Taylor's POV:

I looked to the side to see if he was backstage listening on the other side of the stage. He was, and I could tell he was surprised.

We did 7 songs, and then it was time to leave the stage. "Thank you guys so fucking much! We're the pretty reckless! Thank you! Have a great night and we will see you next time!" I ran off the stage. I looked to see if Kurt was backstage on the other side, but he wasn't. He was already getting ready.

I remembered we had a merch table this time. I looked over and there were a ton of people over there. It was time for me to sign autographs. "Hey guys!" I walked over. People were very excited.

"Taylor, do you have a cd out?" One asked. "No, not yet. But it'll come soon, I promise!" I said as I signed a picture for them.

Kurt's POV:

We played our set and I looked around to see where she was all night. Sometimes she was at her merch table, sometimes sitting at the bar, sometimes backstage. Right before we played our last song I announced on the mic; "Okay, we're about to do our last song of the night. Thank you so much everyone for coming out! After this song, if a girl I met at vintage vinyl could meet me backstage, that'd be great. This one's called in bloom."

We played the last song and I ran backstage and looked for her. "Dude, why didn't you tell me you were opening up for me!?" I asked her. "I'm sorry! I just wanted to talk to you like a person. Not Kurt Cobain, y'know?" She said. "Huh. Well... Thank you. That's the most chill anyone has ever been with me, actually. That's cool." I said.

"You wanna come back to my bus?" I asked. "Uh, sure if it's alright with all the guys." She said. "I'll make them be alright with it." I laughed.

We walked into the bus and sat on the couch. "What other music you listen to?" I asked. "Well, The Beatles are my absolute favorite. But then of course there's Zeppelin, The Who, Pink Floyd, ... You." She laughed. "Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, all that shit." "Ahh, so you listen to today's stuff too?" I joked. "Yeah." She laughed. There's nothing wrong with today's stuff, though. In the rock world, anyway. I don't know what the hell everyone else listens to." She said and shook her head. "You're the best of today's stuff though. Definitely." She smiled a bit and looked me in the eyes. I loved her black eyeshadow. It made the way she looked at me more intense.

"Hey, I still need someone to help me find a record player." I said. "Tomorrow afternoon?" "Oh, you weren't joking about that?" She asked. "Not exactly. I mean, I still do actually need a player." I laughed a bit. "Yeah, Okay. Tomorrow afternoon. I'll meet you at blueberry hill?" She asked. "Sounds good." I smiled.

We talked until 4 in the morning, until Taylor could barely keep her eyes open. "Hey, sorry man. I just threw so much of my energy into he crowd... I'm exhausted." She said. "Hey, no worries." I smiled. She sighed. "Well, I better get back to my bus. I'll see you tomorrow afternoon, alright?" She said before opening the door. "Bye." I said and she walked out.
