|A Horrible day|

      I wake up the next morning to the loud sound of my alarm. I turn it off and get up, doing my daily routine of changing into my uniform, brushing my hair, and waking up Ayame and Hiroshi from their slumber.

      Man, I'm kinda exhausted from yesterday.

     I huffed and downstairs to make breakfast for the twins. It's honey oatmeal which is their favorite, they're eyes always sparkle with happiness. When I got done Ayame and Hiroshi came downstairs, sat down, and start eating.

      "Meyome, do you work today?"

      "Yes, Ayame I do now eat before we end up missing the bus," I say to her with a smile as I grab my work uniform and put it in my bag. My mind starts to drift to the memories of yesterday, but the twins get me out of my trance when they were done and we leave the house.

      "You seem tired, Meyome."

      "Don't worry, Hiroshi, I'm fine," I reassure him with a smile as we make it to the bus stop and we wait for a bit, probably for six minutes till the vehicle arrived with other smiling children inside, ready to face the day.

      "Alright you two, have a good day."

      "You too, Meyome!" The twins said simultaneously with a smile, they got on the bus and leave as I continue walking to school, I have a feeling it's going to be a slow day.

       I really hope Kurama remembers to bring lunch for me today. I don't want to starve... I wonder how the Spirit World is handling Hiei.

      I sigh and continued walking till I see the familiar building, students were still flooding in. I make it to the gates and go into the building as well, head to my locker to see Kurama waiting there.

      "Morning!" I call out, approaching him as he steps aside to let me open my locker.

      "Did you bring lunch, Shuichi?"

      "I did?"

      "You should share," I mention playfully, putting my things from my bag in the locker that isn't needed for classes.

      "Keyword, could, Meyome," Kurama said as I close my locker giving him a shocked look and point at myself.

      "You'd let your favorite person starve!"

      "Perhaps."

      "Hey!" I exclaim punching him playfully before both of us laugh. We walk to class enjoying the peace we have between one another with a lighthearted conversation.

      After our three classes of, math, language arts, and social studies next was chemistry which was an easy class. I was making a red chemical with my other friend Akiza which we have to make perfect or the teacher will yell at us.

      "Look out it's the wolf," Akiza warns me as I turn around to see Ren the womanizer of our school.

      "Do you need anything?" I ask irritated by his presence as he takes my hand and kisses the back of it as I cringe internally.

      "I was wondering if you wanted to go to the movies with me this weekend?" Ren asked and Akiza was about to protest as I raise my hand so she stays quiet. I quickly get my hand out of Ren's and I rub the back of my hand against my skirt.

      "Sorry I must decline again, my days are really busy," I say to him giving an annoyed look and continue working with Akiza, ignoring Ren's flirting attempts the entire time which is very distracting.
