The Hashtags was able to recruit Ronnie Alonte a varsity player for basketball from the University of Perpetual Help. If Ronnie's face seems familiar, chances are you've seen him on commercial. His firsr exposure to showbiz were the workshops he's been attending at Star Magic.

Like the other members of Hashtags, Ronnie was informed by his handler that It's Showtime was holding auditions for a dance group. Ronnie's interest was piqued and found himself dancing to Justin Bieber's "Where Are U Now?" to show off his mad skills on the dance floor.

Thankfully, he made the cut and became one of the noontime heartthrobs that now grace TV screens daily.

HOW DOES IT FEEL BEING A MEMBER OF HASHTAGS?

Light drama lang. Parang Got To Believe o kaya OTWOL (On the wings of Love), 'yung ganun lang ka-light. Gusto kong maging performer talaga and hindi yung mag-heavy na drama.
