I was thinking to start on " Stretching the roster". Its a alternative to Bret's to back story, It takes place in the EG universe as Bret is a student there. He meets Twilight and figure out that she's different from the other people. He soon figures out she's not from this dimension but from Equestria. He follows her through the portal and his adventure takes off.
