Later that day Percy was sitting on the beach looking at the water, thinking, when a blonde haired girl sat next to him. Percy looked over to see Annabeth.
"Hey wisegirl" Percy smiles softly.
"Hey seaweed brain, I just wanted to tell you that again, I'm sorry. I wish I didn't have to to it but my dad needs me." Annabeth looks at the boy sitting next to her.
Percy nods silently, "I know, me either. I'll miss you." They both stand, Percy for the first time noticed she had a bag in herr hand.
"I'm leaving so I can be home by tomorrow afternoon." She says, and gives Percy a tight hug. "I'll see ya Perce" She waves and walks off the beach, heading for the entrance of camp. Percy waves after her, then looks back at the water sadly.
Annabeth looked down at Camp Half Blood- her home- for the last time for awhile and sighed, the blonde then turned and walked out.
