Harry

Waiting for Kent in the car was getting tedious for Harry. It has been exactly 35 minutes since Kent left the vehicle just to order some lattes and he was getting more irritated by each second passing. He grabbed Kent's keys and exited the vehicle. He walked impatiently towards the vintage looking coffee shop which was soothingly appealing to his eyes.
Once he entered the shop, the smell of fresh coffee filled his senses. His emerald eyes were hastily searching for his brunette friend. He finally spotted his irritating friend, turns out Kent wasn't alone.
"Harry! Mate, come over here. Sit." Kent says as he motions over to the seat next to him.
He walked towards the circular table where Kent and his friend sat. His gaze shifted to the girl who sat in front of Kent with a sly smile on her face, her lips curling. He returned his gaze back to his friend, letting him speak.
"Harry, this is Mickey. We had the same class together during high school." His eyes lifted once more to study the girl's features. He parted his mouth and a small 'nice to meet you' escaped his lips. "Nice to meet you too, Harry."
The sound of his name escaping her plump lips was soothing for him. He disliked the fact that she had an effect on him.
He ignored the thought swirling throughout his head and focused back to his blabbering friend. the conversation continued furthermore through the passed minutes, he was slightly enjoying himself but nonetheless he still wanted to go home immediately to just relax.
"So what are you doing here all alone?" Kent motions the small and quiet coffee shop, there was a pause for a while before her answer came out.
"Well, for starters...uh. I like coffee?" Her answer came out more of a question than a response, it was like she wasn't even sure herself. A sound of harmony came out of her lips. She just giggled.
His eyes drifted to the girl in front of him. "That was silly, sorry. I actually just decided to come back and have a visit." Her lips curling into a smile smile.
"How long will you be staying here?" He surprises himself by asking. By the looks of it he isn't the only one surprised that he actually uttered merely more than a word. Her gaze fixates on him, her reaction slightly recovering.
"I think more than a month or so."
Guess I'll be seeing more of her then...
He nodded and continued focusing on his cold drink and cold-looking sandwich that is sitting on the circular wooden table. He was a bit bothered by her short answer; unable to figure out the reason why. He then started fiddling with his fingers rather than continuing the conversation.
"Hey, I think I'm gonna head home." He abruptly stood up from his chair while he evades from the confused stares.
"You sure?" Kent questions due to confusion. Before agreeing he gave Harry the 'what is up with you' eyes. Since he too was not sure why he suddenly had the urge to go home surprises him one again, so instead he gave his friend a nonchalant shrug. The jock shook his head while smiling.
"You never cease to surprise me, dude." He winks at Mickey, he looked at girl who sat they with. Guessing by her posture, she wasn't exactly comfortable with Kent winking at her. Harry mentally chuckled at the sight of his friend flirting with an uncomfortable attractive girl.
Attractive? Get a grip.
Harry was not quite sure if he should leave the girl with a flirty Kent. He chuckled slightly at the thought. His forest green eyes focused back on the petite girl, deciding that he should be nice to her since he is leaving, he then gave her a soft smile then dashed out of the coffee shop.
He quicken his pace as he rushed to his flat. Passing by strangers who seemed not to care about him rushing. His feet padded the pavement until he spotted the familiar looking tree he then slowed down, slipping his hand to his pockets. He let out a sigh of contention when he neared his flat. Harry wasn't sure why he dashed out of the coffee shop abruptly, was it because that Mickey was just like her? Her aura was calm and composed, but Mickey was more shy which made her personality stood out more. The only similarity they had was their smile. He shook his head, preventing himself to think about her again.
"Stop it. Stop comparing them, you barely know her. " He mutters to himself.
Harry rubbed his hands on his face anxiously, not knowing what to do he waltzed back to the brown modern couch and started watching tv.
Sooner or later his thoughts have nearly forgotten about the encounter he had with Mickey, after mindlessly flicking through the channels his stomach to rumble, signaling that he was famished since he didn't dare to touch his hot coffee and sandwich a while ago.
He then stepped onto the kitchen and his thoughts mindlessly drifted back to the girl who owned those dazzling brown eyes.
