6. Why

I cleared my throat and Louis smiled at me. Harry sat beside me as Louis do his work in the kitchen.

"Your mom works for Julian?" He asks.

"Her sister is dumb like her. That's why." I said. Harry and Louis burst into laughter.

"What?" I asked and put my head on the table.

"Julian is a bitch." Louis said. I groaned and decided to take a nap on the table.

"Nu-uh! You're not sleeping." Louis said.

"Bwaut Awm twired." I muffled.

"What?" Harry said. I groaned and face Louis.

"I'm tired. I stay up all night just to study for our history test. I need to rest." I said and huffed. Harry look at me.

"Why did you do that?" He asks.

"Well, I'm trying to maintain my A's grade since I'm a scholar. Some people aren't like you, Harry." I said. Well, to be more descriptive. My parents earning were just enough for our daily needs. They didn't pay for our school since both me and Louis are scholar. My mom's earnings was enough to pay the electrical and water bills and school needs while, my father earnings was enough to pay the housing authority. Louis car was given by him by our grandfather when he turn 18 but unfortunately, grandpa died. A year after grandma was next. My dad is the only child of them. In my mother side, well, we really are not close to them since my mom is born with a golden spoon. She really came into a rich family but when mom meets dad the whole world change for her. She wanted my dad and not the money or anything from my grandparents. My grandparents doesn't approve my dad so, they make mom go away. They also know that mom and dad has a children but they didn't like us. Mom is the only child also. My grandparents really fond of their adopted child named, Aunt Hillary, they say Aunt Hillary was so great than my mom. Aunt Hillary meets her husband who is a business entrepreneur named Uncle Stephen. They also has a two child which happens to be Julian and her brat sister Daphnee. We're technically cousins but my mom works for them. I told my mom to find another job but Julian's parents were paying her higher than usual.

"What do you mean?" He asks. I told him my whole story.

"Oh." Is all he said when I told him.

"That's why Julian despise Selena so much. I think because Selena is more kind and beautiful than her." Louis butts in. Harry nodded.

"Actually, our dad works as a security guard in one of your hotels." Louis added.

"Really?" He shockingly said. I nodded and motion him to eat the mac and cheese made by Louis. We eat in silence and I told Louis that me and Harry are going upstairs. Louis said he had a group study with the girl he likes named Danielle.

"So, that's why Julian is a bitch to you. You are technically cousins." He said as he put his bag on my bed. I nodded.

"Well, I don't consider her as my cousin since she didn't act one." I said. He open his bag and get his algebra and history books.

"Can you help me study? I really have a hard time studying this subjects." He said and I nodded. I started teaching him our lessons since we have a quiz tomorrow.  After hours of Math equations and Historic dates and places, he gets it.

"Ugh! This thing hurts." He said and collapsed on my floor. I giggled and he looked at me.

"You find it funny?" He said and making his way over to me. He started to tickle me and I laugh hard. We both stumble out of bed and stop laughing when I realize how close we are. He is on top of me which is totally an awkward position. He immediately pull up and lend his hand for me to take.
