The anger that I feel inside,
Is shown through my tears,
They drip down my face like blood from a cut,
Staining my face with scarlet streaks,
Shouts of agony,
Fill the eerie silence of night,
Wishing upon a star,
That someone finally hears,
A broken girl,
Alone in the world,
Surrendering the light away,
Never to feel again,
Blood and pain,
Surrounded by dead feathers,
A black bird flies,
As a girl slowly dies,
The girl dies in enrapturing anger,
Criss-crosses cover her skin,
Legs, arms and stomach,
All with pretty patterns,
The blood stains red,
But slowly turns black,
As the hidden pain,
Is finally seen,
A silent scream fills the night,
As a girl bites a pillow to hide her fright,
An accident caused by a slip of the hand,
Is the start of the end of forever,
This is a story of pain,
A wish that someone had,
Something a girl wished was true,
That girl was me.
