The world is a mysterious place,

Full of twists and turns,

And of judged darkness,

And lights halo,

A person can't be dark and be kind,

Just as a person can't be light yet evil,

We are all judged for being us,

While we judge others the same way,

You walk down a twisted road,

Deciding whether to go left or right,

Get stuck at the crossroads,

With no where to go,

Listening to the rhythem of your heart,

Beating with the betrayal of your mind,

Wanting nothing more that to give it,

But not willing to face the sin,

Tryig to escape the judgemental looks,

Just wanting to let the darkness win,

So you can finally be in peace,

But the light is far too stubborn to release,

Looking at the world through rose coloured glasses,

Not understanding why people see things differently.

Hating them for underestimating you,

Wishing that they could just look through your own eyes,

Unfortunately that will never be,

No one ever sees that same as others,

You may as well give up,

And realize within yourself that you will forever be alone.
