Not What They Seem to Be

1- The Encounter

Man, I'm so tired right now.

Hello I'm Rena Young. You're probably wondering why I'm tired. Well, here you go.

I'v been standing for almost an hour on this dumb train waiting for my stop. I gave my seat away to this elderly lady who could barely walk. I wasn't gonna just sit there while someone who needed the seat more then me was suffering.

So I gave her the seat. And now I almost regret it. ALMOST.

Anyway, what's done is done so I'm just going to look around and distract myself from the pain in my legs slowly getting more painful.

Just then, I see a guy in a mask and hat looking around. But that's not the problem. The problem is that his phone is right under this girls skirt.

This bastard...he's bravely filming right in front of everyone.....

I slowly make my way up to him and stop in front of him. I yell, "Yah! What do you think your doing?"

He just looks up at me with a confused expression.

Unbelievable. He's such a coward. He can't even admit his mistake and apologize.

I point at his phone still under the girls skirt and repeat, "what do you think your doing?"

He looks at his phone and I guess he finally realizes because he takes the phone away quickly and says to me and the many people who are looking at him in disgust, "it's not what you think. I was just resting my arm and my phone happened to be over there!"

Everyone starts muttering, "that's so gross"

"How could he do something like that? And in front of everyone."

"My god! I'm going to wear pants from now on!"

The girl who was the victim of his crime slapped him hard on the face and walked away with anger.

I walk away with an uneasy feeling.

Maybe he didn't do it on purpose. He seemed so confused....

My stop comes and I quickly get off the train and make my way out of the station and into a nearby ally.

It's dark now so I should get home quickly. Not that I'm particularly scared or afraid to be out at night but Julie, Sae Kyung, and Sae Kyungs cousin Ji Sun will get overly worried about me. They would pester me once I get home and ask me why I'm so late and give me a long speech fit for the president of South Korea.

At this point I am about to put my headphones in my ears to listen to BTS's new song "Fire." But as I'm about to put in the left ear bud I hear footsteps behind me. Obviously I'm not that much of a scary cat, but since it's dark and this is when creeps like to come out I put the earbud in but kept the music off.

The I hear the footsteps getting faster. And faster. And faster. NOW I'm sure this is when I should run. So I do just that. I Run.

I turn many ally's but it seems the creep is young because he is able to keep up with me. I don't turn around because that will get me to slow down.
