Chapter Two
"Hey, adoptie boy, over here" Travis turned to face Michael Blunt, the school bully.Michael loved to torment Travis because he was adopted and had no proper parents. He thrust his fist in Travis' face and burst out laughing. Travis ran off inside the school. You wern't meant to go inside at break, but Travis didn't want to be beaten to a pulp by Michael. Travis had no proper friends. Only people who occasionly talked to him in class and before class. Every birthday, when Travis cut his cake, he wished only for one thing. A real best friend.
A strange feeling came over Trvais when he saw the new girl. She was smiling at him.She was very pretty.
"Travis, What are you doing in at brake?" The head master asked him. If he tol The head that michael was bullying him, he would be beaten up more.
"Going to the toilet, sir" He told him.
"Be quick. And Travis, this is the new girl,Alexis Shaun, may you show her around?" Travis nodded.
"Please sir, call me Alex." Alexis said. The head nodded and left them together.
"Still need the loo?" Alex raised her eyebrows at Travis. He shook his head.
"So why were you inside then, eh?" She meant it as a joke but Travis looked upset.
"What's the matter, Travis?" She asked.
"I'm being bullied, that's what, punched kicked, teased, that's why" A single tear ran down his face. Alex was shocked to silence.
