Just a Crush (Dolan Twins FanFic)

Pt.1

"Bringgggg, bringgggg!" Miley's alarm clock on her phone wakes her up, and she hops out of bed, happy as ever, because today is a very important day.

It's her birthday!

She turned 16, and she can't wait for her Sweet 16 party, coming up at the end of the month. It's going to be a huge fling, and she's inviting almost everyone in the school. Usually Miley doesn't have big parties, or goes to parties, but this is different. Miley's been waiting for this party ever since she was little. And since her mother has lots of money, she's able to throw this for her.

There's going to be giant bouncy houses, (because who doesn't love those?) cotton candy machines, and since they have a 20 foot long inground pool, it's going to be extra fun.

Miley's day was off to a great start. She woke up, got out of bed, and after getting dressed, (she was wearing a pastel pink skater skirt, with a daisy sweater and white converse) she found her mom making her favorite pancakes- blueberry with peanut butter on top. She saw a little pink box on the island, so she happily walked over to it.

"What's this?," Miley asked with a smirk. Her mom smiled. "Just a little something..you know, a pre-birthday present." Miley opened it, and inside was two tickets to her favorite band in the whole universe...Twenty One Pilots.

She started screaming and crying and jumping up and down. Even though she's already been to one of their concerts before, she was still ecstatic because words can't describe how much she loves Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun. "Thank you mommy! Oh my God!," Miley screamed through tears. "Of course honey! I told you this birthday was going to be extra special." But even after all this, one thing was still missing...her dad. Ever since she was a baby, she had to grow up without one thing she needed...a father.

He left her mom and her when she was 2 years old because he supposedly found someone else...a lot younger. Miley always wondered why she didn't have a father while everyone else did, so when she was 12 years old, her mom finally told her why he wasn't in her life, and she shouldn't want him to be. But after everything, she secretly wished she still knew him.

***Later that day...

As Miley walked to school, (she lives across the street from it) you could hear neighbors wishing her a happy birthday. "Thank you Mr. Petterson, aww thanks Mrs. Jamie...," Miley spoke. Finally she arrived at school, and saw all her friends. They soon gathered around her. "Happy Birthday!!!," they all said in unison. "Thanks guys!," she said smiling. Her best friend, Sophia, took Miley over to her locker once the crowd died down, to talk privately. "So," Sophia started. "Have you heard?" Miley gave a confused look. "Heard what?," Miley asked. "Carter Kukuasak has a major crush on you!," Sophia screamed. "What?! No way! I can't believe he likes me!," Miley said. "Yup! He told me late last night. He also said he wanted to be your date to your party!"   "EEEEEEK!"

Little did Miley know all the boy trouble that was soon to come...
