chapter two

After school was over I met up with the girls and decided that instead of going straight ahead to the mall after dropping my siblings we should all head home rest a bit and I will pick them up at  three .so after picking up jad and sally we headed home straight away .

When we arrived home I found my mom in the kitchen "al salam alaiky ya mama " I said "wa alaiky al salam habibty " she replied
"So how was your day " I asked her
"Alright I guess a little tiring but nothing serious "she said smiling
" you should seriously take a day off mom its getting hotter out there summer is coming within weeks " I told her
My mom is a realstate agent and she show people houses and apartments so she is out side most of the time and the summer heat is rising so I want her to take a break .
"No need to worry baby the car is conditioned and im thinking of handing our the field work to Khalifa he was asking to get more work other than the paper work lately so im going to  hand it to him and take more hours in the company paper work and you my little fuful dont need to worry about mommy " she said loughing and squeezing my cheeks . I loughed with her and hugged her "dont worry baby It will be all good from now on al hamd ly allah " she reassured me " al hamd lil lah " I said

I remembered to ask her permission " so mom I wanted to ask your permission to go to the mall with the girls in half an hour" she made  face that indicates that she was about to say no then I added " there is a new  store opening and I was thinking of doing some shoping since I finally got the car and my cloth are getting small and really old " hearing this her face immediately changed and she looked surprised and she started smiling weirdly and said
" in that case go ahead dariling I was going to ask you to watch the kids ' sally and jad ' but im going to ask zainb to since ur going and might I add going shopping I will let you go and here is my credit card buy what ever you want but dont go over a fifteen hundred  " she said handing me her credit card and walking out of the kitchen and heading up stairs . To say I was shocked would be an understatment becouse , one mom never and I mean never gives any of us her credit card without supervision and two were my cloth that old and ugly that she handed me her credit card without arguments and let me free from babysitting sally and jad .

After I finally realised the situation I went after her and found her at the top of the stairs so I cought up . " mom are you seriously giving me your credit card and letting me use over a thousand"
" oh yes darling you need this shopping spree more that anything I was actually going to take you next week by force if I had to but since your going with your friends I might as well let you choose somethings that are your style and comfortable for you " she said
Oh thanks mama I appreciate it but I have money saved in my bank account that will do just fine " I kissed her and wss about to handle the credit card when she slapped my hand and scuffed at me " ever since you got your car obsession you never let us buy you anything and I bought your brothers and sisters new cloth every year while you were stubborn so I think you deserve some new things and im your mother girl and u still live at my house so untill you move out to live with your husband im still gonna spend my money on you " told me then kissed me and headed for hers and dads room while I stood thier amazed how I got this super mom .

After talking with mom I realised I have twenty minutes left to get ready so I headed to my room took my fifteen  minutes shower and got dressed in a blue fadded jeans that were my sisters becouse I out grown mine like alot and a simple top and grey hoddie and my old rattled black converse and my small black perse and did my hair in a two french braids . I wasnt mohajaba ' hijabi - wearinv a scarf ' becouse I dont think im ready yet and when the time comes I want it to be from my heart and to be accepted from god.
As I was heading out of my room and walking to the stairs my mom stopped me " honey I need you to be home by five today becouse me and your father have a surprise for you " I dont know why but I suddenly got super excited " why whats going on ?"
"If I told you it wouldnt be a surprise , just be home by five okay , i love you baby " she said and threw me an air kiss  . I loughed and completed my way downstairs
