NATSU P.O.V

Lucy and I began our mission by heading to Katastrofi, a small town where the Fantasy Five have last been sighted. The reason we need to find them and apprehend them is souly because well, they don't have souls. They sold them. They're mad; Lucy and I need to stop them before they continue to take over the land and convert more souls to their dark ways.

LUCY P.O.V

While natsu and I begin our three day walking journey, I think of what awaits. How our targets will respond, how we we capture them, and how we will bring justice for all they have done. But even more, I can't help but think about these feelings for natsu. It's strange. I enjoy the sight of his smile and his hazel eyes are mesmerising to me. I can't help but wonder if he feels the same about me. I would feel silly if this was just a phase. But for some reason, I feel it isn't. I just can't help my feelings for him. It makes me feel warm inside when he touches me. I can feel my cheeks get warm as I'm thinking. "Wacha thinking about?" He asks me in a wanting tone. "Nothing that you would be interested in" I reply with a careless tone.

NATSU P.O.V

I watch Lucy as she brushes my question off without a care. But I can't help myself for warning to know what she's thinking in they pretty little head of hers. When I look at her she blushes for reasons she won't say. So I'm left only to infer. And if I'm right then this trip is going to go well. I'm not a girl so I don't go over every little thing but I have feelings for Lucy that I don't think are temporary. I feel the need to protect her always. I just want to know if she'll be mine.

LUCY. P.O.V

"The woods are beautiful!" I exclaim, desperately trying to change the subject. But I was neigh honest. The musty dirt path with forest for miles on either side with medium side trees and wild flowers of all colors spreading as far as the eye could see. The air smelled fresh and pedals were falling from the trees. "AGGH" I hear, followed by natsu falling onto me. I lay on the ground pinned by my crush, my best friend. My dragon slayer. He lay in that position. Is cheeks as red as a tomato frog. I giggle. Suddenly, I feel his lips press againsed mine as he kisses me. I kiss him back and we lay there, acting as if nothing else mattered. I hear a muffled scream, natsu gets up, grabs my hand "Let's get'em, Lucy heartfillia." He proclaimed in the most manly flirty voice he could muster up. I giggle and squeeze his hand as I stand up. I was more than ready for this S Class quest. Way more than ready.

NATZU P.O.V

I kissed her. I kissed Lucy heartfillia. I will never let her go. We rush in the direction of the scream. Both catching our breath from out passionate, soft kiss. I can't believe she kissed me back. I've got to get my mind back in our mission. Back to the scream. We're running, hand in hand. I notice a little girl with deep purple hair, silently in years. Her legs and hand, covered in blood. While a lifeless body lay next to her. Lucy runs fourth and comforts the girl. And I try to identify the body. But Lucy had it figured out. She had burst into tears.
