"What?" Kageyama was stiff and his eyes opened wide in both shock and fear.
"Ah, nothing. Sorry what was I thinking..." Oikawa shook his head, and turned away to prevent Kageyama from seeing that he was crying. 'What was I thinking, using him to relieve my stress over Iwa-chan..." The brunet sighed at his own selfishness.
"Oikawa-san... Please look this way." The younger boy muttered under his breath, he cautiously approached Oikawa and sat beside him.
"Please leave me alone..." Oikawa said weakly. All his energy was used up from crying today.
"It's okay to cry." Kageyama gently rubbed his senpai's back and sighed softly. "You dislike me, right?" He narrowed his eyes and looked down.
"What- I- well maybe I do..." Oikawa admitted, ashamed of himself. How could he hate the boy that's been caring for him ever since they moved in together.
"I see..." Kageyama removed his hand from Oikawa's back and stood up.
The older boy instinctively grabbed Kageyama's hand. "Please don't leave me..." He gripped on tighter, making sure that Kageyama wouldn't leave his side.
Kageyama sat down beside Oikawa. "All you had to do was say it..." Kageyama reluctantly pulled the brunet to an embrace. "You can use me as a rebound..." He muttered and tightened the embrace.
[The Next Day 6:00am]
"Tobio-chan~!" Oikawa chirped cheerfully.
"Yes, Oikawa-san?" Kageyama stopped walking and looked back at the brunet.
"I told you to call me 'Tooru'!" The great king complained. "Plus, it's not nice to leave your boyfriend behind!" Oikawa grabbed Kageyama's hand and walked alongside him.
"Gomen, Gomen..." Kageyama smiled, it's been a while since he had.
Oikawa's eyes sparkled, he brought out his phone and quickly took a picture.
"Wha- what was that for!" Kageyama growled in embarrassment. His face could already be compared to a tomato.
"It's because you're cute when you smile!" Oikawa pinched Kageyama' cheeks and chuckled. "You should smile some more, y'know!" He gave a cheeky grin.
"Stop it, Tooru!" He tried to pull Oikawa's hands away but it only stretched his cheeks more. 'Someone help me...' He thought to himself.
"Oikawa." A deep voice said from behind. It was that voice. Oikawa hadn't heard it in a day, yet he had strangely forgotten the voice.
"A-Ah... Iwa-chan..." The brunet avoided eye contact with the ace. He still couldn't get over the fact that Iwaizumi did it. Oikawa wasn't upset because he didn't reply to his phone, it was that Oikawa loved him and he had seen the most upsetting sight.
"You haven't answered your phone for two days now! I was worried sick..."
"E-Eh, the battery was o-" Oikawa hadn't finished his statement, when Iwaizumi had cut him off.
"Do you know how worried I was?" Iwaizumi stomped angrily.
"Worried, you say? Tch, don't give me that shit. If you really were worried you could've thought of visiting me!" Oikawa could barely contain his anger, he was shaking.
"I'm sorry... I just couldn't find the time-"
"Of course, you're too busy... I'm sorry, what was I thinking." Oikawa retorted with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.
"Oikawa, wait..." Iwaizumi had planned on pulling his setter into a hug, until Kageyama had interrupted.
"Excuse me, I shall being taking Tooru-kun from here." The raven head grabbed onto Oikawa's hand and dragged him along.
" 'Tooru-kun?' " Iwaizumi repeated to himself.
