Avengers Imagine: Theme Songs

A/N: based of a tumblr post I saw...I do not own it or the songs mentioned.

It was a typical day off in the Avengers tower. Steve, Natasha, and Clint were in the living room, Bruce was in the lab, Thor was making food in the kitchen, and Tony was nowhere to be found.

For once the tower was quiet. Until...

"I AM IRON MAN!"

Everyone jumped. Bruce and Thor came running in.

"HAS HE LOST HIS MIND? CAN HE SEE OR IS HE BLIND? CAN HE WALK AT ALL? OR IF HE MOVES WILL HE FALL?"

Natasha groaned.

"TONY!" Screamed Clint.The music was shut off, and Tony walked in grinning from ear to ear.

"Like my theme song? Iron Man by Black Sabbath. Pretty good, huh? I bet you all wish you had one too."

Steve rolled his eyes. "Tony, don't start this."

"I can guarantee we all have better theme songs than you do." Clint said.

"I'd like to see you come up with them," Tony replied, "then we'll talk."

The Avengers were all waiting for Fury to start the meeting.

"Where the hell is Natasha?" Fury demanded.

"Jarvis, you know the plan." You heard Natasha say from down the hall. There was a second of silence before the music started playing.

"GONNA LOVE YA, GONNA LOVE YA, LIKE A BLACK WIDOW, BABY."

The Avengers groaned.

"Really Nat?" Bruce exclaimed.

Natasha smiled and took a seat. "Top that!"

Clint sat down. The music started to blast.

"B B B BIRD BIRD BIRD B BIRD'S THE WORD!"

Clint groaned. Everyone else burst out laughing.

"I DIDNT CHOOSE THIS!" Clint cried.

"I did," Tony said, gasping for air, "I couldn't resist!"

"I think Clint wins." Bruce smiled.

"Not yet," Steve trailed off.

The competition for best theme song was getting out of control. Thor chose Hammer Time. Clint tried to get back into the competition, but Tony beat him to it, playing Rockin' Robin. Bruce chose to stay out of it. Steve stayed quiet.

"I'm officially calling this competition quits," Tony said, "no one else has contributed to this fight, and I believe that I am the-"

The first notes to the National Anthem blasted from the speakers. Everyone froze.

"No," Natasha whispered, "he didn't. He couldn't have."

"Oh I did." Steve stood at the doorway, a huge smirk on his face. "I was saving the best for last."

"Wow." Clint said.

"I think we have our winner." Bruce added.

Tony was frozen. "You piece of crap," was all he could say, "you son of a bitch."

Steve simply smiled. "You can't ever beat the National Anthem."
