Steve: You sat up, breathing heavily. The images played over and over again.

"He's alive," you said over and over, "Steve's alive." You crawled out of bed and walked over the Steve's room. He wasn't there.

Slightly concerned, you made your way towards the gym, hoping he was there. You found Steve using the punching bags, lost in thought.

"You too?" You asked. Steve flinched slightly and looked at you. He nodded.

"What was yours about?"

"Y-You died. Shot down by HYDRA."

Steve sighed. "You died in mine too."

Steve took a step toward you and pulled you into a hug. "It's okay," he whispered, "I'm okay."

"I'm okay too. I love you, Steve."

Steve kissed your forehead. "I love you too. Stay with me tonight?"

"Of course."

Tony: Falling. That's all he felt. He was free falling towards New York with no way to stop. No way to stop. No way to soften the fall. No one could help him. Four words filled his mind: I'm going to die.

Tony woke with a start. Realizing where he was, he relaxed a little. This was the third time this week he had that nightmare. It wasn't going away anytime soon.

"Tony?" (Y/N) mumbled, "You okay?"

"Fine. Sorry I woke you up."

"Tony, what's wrong?" (Y/N) was completely awake by now.

He sighed. "The dream."

"Again? Come here." Tony moved closer to (y/n). "You are the bravest man I've ever met. You saved New York and lived to tell the tale. You had a near death experience and managed to shake it off."

Tony smiled. "Thanks."

"The nightmares are normal. One day they'll stop, I promise. I used to have nightmares about my very first mission. They were horrible and went on for weeks on end. Do you want to know when they stopped? When we started dating. You helped me through my nightmares, and I want to do the same for you. I love you."

"I love you too." Tony closed his eyes and easily drifted off in (y/n)'s embrace. He didn't have nightmares for the rest of that night.

Bruce: You sat up, tears running down your face. The spot next to you in bed was empty. Bruce must still be in the lab. You couldn't tell him about the dream you had. It would break his heart.

You had dreamt about Bruce hulking out and killing you. You knew he would never ever do that, but it all felt so real.

Pushing the terrible thoughts away, you padded over to the lab. You found Bruce staring at his papers.

"Bruce?"

He looked up. "Hi, darling. Is everything alright?"

You sighed. "Nightmare. Couldn't sleep."

He smiled, and pulled up a seat. "Do you want to share?"

You looked down and took a deep breath. "You hulked out and killed me. Please don't get upset, I know it won't happen, but it was just so scary!"

Something flickered in Bruce's eyes, and he gave you a sad smile. "I'm not mad (y/n), it's not your fault. I just have one question: are you afraid of me?"

You shook your head. "Of course not! No!"

He put his arm around you. "I'm glad."

"Are you okay? I feel like you're not telling me something."
