"Did you really play championships for dodge ball?" He asked me.

"Yep, speaking of, there's a party later Friday. And since we're friends now, you should come with me." He looked at me like I was crazy. Then his face lit up after a second of 'hard' thinking....

"You count me as a friend?"
"Ya, I guess," I said kicking a rock out onto the grass by now we walked out of the indoor school and walked down to the back of the practice foot ball field.

"So does that mean your 'reputation' of being the bad ass is over?"

"What does having you as a friend have to do with that?" I asked kinda offended kinda not.

"Earlier you said you don't have much friends because your 'bad reputation'"

"Ok, listen. I don't give a damn about my bad reputation" I said poking his nose, "oh no not me."

"An' I don't give a damn 'bout my reputation
Never said I wanted to improve my station
An' I'm only doin' good when I'm havin' fun
An' I don't have to please no one"

"Ah you know the song?" I asked curiously looking into his eyes.

"Hah, yes I do." He looked down at me.

"So? About that party invite?" I said trying to convince myself that I don't like him, or his face...

"Um, I guess I'll go," he said standing up grabbing his backpack.

"Really?"

"I don't give a damn about my reputation"

"You're a dork, you know?"

"Yep, and I'm a dork who cares if I get a tarty , so let's go to class."

We went our separate ways after our lunch. It was only one day with him. Great, no we're like 'best friends' or something. We somehow already had each others numbers, he asked when the party and all that was at, I just gave him my address and told him meet me there at 7p.m. and he can stay the night at my place.

-after school-

"Heyy" I heard a girls voice say, "Did you hear about the party that the dodge ball team is throwing?" She asked someone behind me. Guess no one knows I'm the star player. Oh well, like I really care.

"Ya, did you hear that the secret star player is going to be there?" I heard guy ask her. Hmm secret star player? Haha, guess they're talking about me. I quietly laughed to my self. "They say her names Trey or something like that right?" The girl asked, I decided to tune out their conversation seeing as the only thing important to them was that the dodge ball parties were the best, and the games never really mattered.

"Hey, wait up" someone grabbed my shoulder, I turned to smack their hand away but it was the one, the only, Justin.

"Hello" I said glancing back at him.
"So are we hanging out inbetween the party or just during the party?" Justin asked curiously, twisting my hair in his fingers.

"First if all grow your own hair. And secondly I don't really care if we hang out before the party or not."

"So wanna hang out right now?" He asked while removing his fingers from my hair.

"Sure, whatever" I said whilst he put his arm playfully around my shoulders, "your arm is heavy get it offff" I dragged out.

"But I'm lazy"

"Does it look like I care?"

"Just a little," he lightened the pressure he was putting on his arm, "so where we goin' now?"

"I don't know, wanna go to the park?"

"Which pa- did you just ask to go to a park?"

"Yes, yes I did, and I meant a park with a playground."

"Oh well you should've said it had a playground earlier! I'd love to go, and force you to push my on the swings!"

"The last part better be sarcastic"

"It was."

On our way there I pushed his arm off my shoulders, and pushed him lightly into a tree  or two that we passed. Then him nudging me back.

"That's the par-" I started
"Hey! Race you there!" Justin yelled as he started to take off.

"Last one there is a rotten egg!" I yelled as I passed him by and sat on a swing.

"Guess I'm an rotten egg?" He said lightly huffing.
"You're the most rotten egg of them all," I said while I wrapped my hands around the chains of the swing,"push me." I commanded.

"Yes your highness" he cockily mocked me, while he lazily made his way over to me. I felt his hand press against my back as he pushed me.
"You're doing it wrong." I whined.
"The how do you push one correctly on a swing?" He asked. I jumped off, and told him to get on.

"This is how you're supposed to do it," I explained, as I pulled the chains back, then let go and pushed his back.

"What's the difference?" I heard him yell.
"Um, I pulled the chains first duh"
"And that's all I was doing wrong?"
"Hey don't get to cocky now" I said while pushing him over my head and running under.

"You're a showoff you know?"
"Yep"

"Wanna go down that slide? I'll push you" he said as he jumped off the swing, and pointed over to a yellow swirly slide.

"Sure." We walked over to the slide and I started playing music on my phone because it was sorta've quiet.

[That's what is playing]

After he pushed me down the slide a few times, I pushed him down the slide, then he climbed up it, grabbing the hand I was reading my weight on and pulled me down the slide with him.
"Hey," he said as we stood up.
"What?"
"Dance with me?"

Hey, so this is chapter two! Ye Ye. It's okay, sorry  if there's errors in grammar/spelling I'm going to go through and edit it once my internet turns on. Don't forget that her name is Trey, because I don't mention her name a lot.
