At last... The moment you have been waiting for... You're going to meet the vantas family. You admit... Its probably going to be awkward. You didn't know what to expect. Are they like Karkat? Mean and loud? Who the hell knows!

You were lead to his household by Karkats terrible sense of direction. You got lost four times and told him to slow down his pestering because it was really confusing.

You FINALLY got there. Good job. Now all you have to do is knock...

At the door stood a slightly short' yet taller than kk, guy. Wow. Those eyes. Although they where blank, you found such emotion and comfort in them. You were hypnotized by them. No literally he had to wave his hand in front of your face to get your attention. Nice way to make a first impression... You shook his hand with a grin and introduced yourself. "Hi! I'm (y/n)!... And you are?" you looked at him and at his sweater. He's admittedly attractive, you must say. "Hell9. My name is Kankri vantas. Karkats... '6r9ther' if y9u will." his voice was soothing and poise. He offered you inside the mostly red, black, and gray hive. And called karkat downstairs. Of course he came running down, panting about some god awful plan of his.

Nor you or Kankri could understand a word he said. So much for english...

You both went into his room and watched a Rom com until dinner was ready.

Another voice called from downstairs. This time being a bit more grown and assertive. You and karkat went down the stairs and he introduced you to his "father". He smiled at you politely then stuck out his hand for you to shake. You greeted him with a soft and delicate hand shake. "Hello. I'm (y/n). You must be Karkats father," he looked confused but then smiled. "I'm sorry. I do apologize, am I wrong?" you asked after a few seconds went by. He then explained who he was and that he was karkats ancestor and that "father" was not the correct terminology towards their species. They seem pretty well educated, both on your planet and theirs.

You noticed something wrong with both karkat and Kankri.

From what karkat has told you, Kankri doesn't stop talking. Well he's very quiet at the moment and he stares at the ground. Karkat has obviously picked that up. He hasn't said anything for the past two hours actually.

Signless snapped you out of your thoughts when he mentioned food. He told you that tonight you where going to have (insert favorite food) and chocolate fondue afterwards.

You begin eating and lock eye contact with kankri.
